Zombies almost always check inside. Some are often used as literal fortresses, and are sometimes so heavily barricaded that it is impossible to enter without Free Running. Tagging a police station earns 2 XP. They are listed as a Tactical Resource Point. Police Stations can be barricaded normally.

Current Status

February 21st 2009 - I'm here with nine other survivors and the area seems to be in great shape. Barricades are at EHB, the station is fully powered with a radio transmitter, and not very many zombies at all are in the immediate vicinity. WarpCrow 01:55, 21 February 2009 (CET)

January 25th 2009 - I'm situated with 3 other survivors here for the night, we've barricaded the building but it's not entirely secure. There hasn't been large mobs of zombies so far, the largest pack being 3 and quite a few blocks away. Just a temporary blockade and I'm probably going to move out soon. June 29^th, 2007 - There has been a security breach as reported:
