Origins & Backstory
In April 2006, a police officer named Justin Mullins trapped in Grigg Heights met another young survivor by the name of LadyAG. The two began cooperating in gathering syringes and reviving zombies.
Through these two people, though LadyAG has been missing for some time, TechCom was officially founded. A month later, several survivors joined up.
((Real life note: Unfortunately, it seems that most former group members have left the game))
More Information
TechCom is a dedicated paramilitary group and resistance against the PK (and all xKer) and zombie threats throughout Malton. We're a close knit band of would-be freedom fighters who wish to protect the innocent members of Malton at large. We move quickly. We get in, revive, heal, kill, and 'cade, and move out.
We care not for what level you may be. If you want to be a member of TechCom, then you will have something to do to help out and feel useful. It doesn't matter if all you can do is extract DNA from standing zombies at revive points. Even that can be used for beneficiary purposes, for example. We're opened to all classes as well.
Our Current Revive Point
At the moment, due to lack of membership, TechCom currently has no group based RPs but we are more than happy to help out with those run by others.
Our Tactics
Our main mission is to protect survivors in Malton, wherever we might be located. In doing this, we are more than happy to:
- Heal
- Barricade
- Revive
- Kill (zombies, obviously)
We DON'T Support The Following:
- Spies
- Combat revives
- Reviving zombies randomly outside of designated revive points
Active Missions
- A Place To Call Home
-With Alner Mansion as the closest mansion, TechCom will move in the area to see the current status of the mansion. Hopefully, it will soon become the residence of the group.
Mansion Status: All corners are safe and sound. Mission complete as of January 21, 2009.
- Heal The World
-Zombies are dangerous. PKers are dangerous. Malton is a dangerous place. With such a dangerous place, it is inevitable that your innocent survivor will get injured. TechCom will be setting out to heal 100 injured survivors to full health.
Mission Start: August 5, 2009
Survivors Healed: 11
Bounty Hunting
With lawlessness running rampant in Malton, it is time to take protecting survivors to the next step. TechCom will now be actively hunting down PKers listed on the Rogue's Gallery.
Current Target: Alner's Ghost
- Alner's Ghost is the ghost of Lord Alner who has come back from the afterlife. He is also a PKer aiming to kill those living in his mansion. If spotted, kill on sight.
Current Status: At large
