Zombies frequently check inside. Portable Generators have a use other than powering the lights and increasing search probability in hospitals. Players with the Surgery Skill can heal for 15 HP if the Hospital has a fueled up Generator. Hospitals are listed as Tactical Resource Points. Hospitals can be barricaded normally. Among the internal descriptions found in Hospitals: "...its wards and corridors blackened with the soot of a recent fire" "...its empty wards criss-crossed with snapped quarantine tape." "...one of the city's psychiatric hospitals." "...dark corridors leading through abandoned wards." "...its emergency room in disarray." "...its lobby covered with quarantine posters." "...a children's hospital with bright murals across the walls. " "The main lobby is riddled with bullet holes." "It was one of the last to be evacuated, and seems to have been cleared out in a hurry." "...a derelict hospital that was closed down years ago."

History

The Lee Harvey Oswald Memorial General Hospital was built in 1962 by a wealthy, gadabout billionaire who, coincidentally, had the same name as the presidential assassin. By most accounts, he wasn't a very nice guy either.

18 May 2009 You are inside Oswald General Hospital. The main lobby is riddled with bullet holes. The building has been very strongly barricaded. Also here are satanlovesyou666 (50HP), Monty Ashcroft (50HP), Logan Kennedy (60HP), Yaslew (50HP), Rim Perseus Skyward (50HP), Hobofrog (50HP), MentalMo (50HP), Dzolw (50HP), Bear Man (50HP), Josh Starr (50HP), webfox100 (50HP), Warm Puppy (60HP), Willard J Higgins (60HP), Mikael882 (60HP), Ballsy McRockschwitz (50HP), jamespoky (50HP), Sauron982 (50HP), Evl Kitty (60HP), Crimson Dixon (60HP) and DevoraccaroveD (50HP).A portable generator has been set up here. It is running, and powering a radio transmitter that's currently set to 28.01 MHz. One of the wards has been decorated with a stuffed monkey, two stuffed moose heads, a stuffed bear and a stuffed tiger head.Somebody has spraypainted Regulators Alliance Free Clinic - VSB when safe onto a wall.--Dr Mycroft Chris 18:16, 18 May 2009 (BST)
