Editing my contributions

  • Don't do it again. There are specific rules on the wiki, and there's also history. DarthRevan 21:58, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
  • Your right! There are rules about the wiki! You get a cookie! Where you messed up is posting your own groups crap to a Suburb page, which I'm afraid is against the rules. If I see it there I'll edit it every single time. As the rules state the Suburb page is not the place to post about your group but must be maintained neutral. --Jerkkkasaurus 18:37, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
NPOV does not mean that groups cannot be mentioned if they contributed significantly to events in a suburb (bringing in 50+ people and cleaning up a suburb in less than a week is contributing significantly, I believe, though you're welcome to disagree), and, in fact, you'll see groups mentioned frequently on various suburb pages. What is either against policy or is nearing the realm of bad faith is making edits such as your most recent one, which unjustly deletes useful information alongside the information you disagreed with. While I don't believe that your last edit (the "people" one) was in bad faith or against policy, your current one is, in my opinion.
In the future, the proper way to handle these sorts of things is not to delete or edit the other person's entry, but rather to move it to the talk page for the suburb, that way it can be discussed with others. I'll be reverting it for now, and if you disagree with my actions, you're welcome to take me to A/A, that way we don't end up in an edit war. Alternatively, and what would certainly be the best course of action, you can simply update the status of the suburb yourself with new information in addition to what has already been posted. What you ask is reasonable so I Left the parts that "may" be useful and edited out the the non-neutral parts. I have also moved an original copy on to the discussion page.--Jerkkkasaurus 19:28, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

And now I'm reverting it to its original form. Editing a users comments is considered impersonation as it changes what they have appeared to say. You want to move it off the page? Fine. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 19:38, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
