Description

The Carner Hotel (pronounced "ka-NAH") is the only hotel in the suburb of Dunningwood. It is unique for other reasons as well. While the previous concern had gone out of business nearly 80 years prior to the "Malton Incident," the run-down Victorian building has recently been restored as a "Gentlemen's Club."

The new propritor, "Madam" Taco2 has cleaned out the cobwebs, pulled off the couch covers, polished the woodgrain and restored the joie de vivre. The place and is now serving wine, champagne and comfort to the battle-wearied survivors of Dunningwood. The interior is covered in garish red velvet curtains and plush, but heavily stained, antique Victorian furnishings. Large oil paintings of rotund nudes munching on grapes as they recline in their chaise lounges adorn the carefully papered walls. Ornate stairs lead up to an open-air gallery of themed rooms on the second and third floors.

The Carner is affiliated with the Zombra's Pub franchise in nearby Earlton. (The radio frequency for appointments is 27.53)

The sign out front says "Hiring Girls and Bodyguards: No Zeds Need Apply."

Conveniently located next to Caunt (pronounced "kuhnT") Lane, one of Malton's most open--if least well known--Revive Points.

Barricade Policy

This building should be Extremely Heavily barricaded at all times.

Survivors who find the building's barricades below their assigned level are asked to assist in raising them back up in order to help ensure the safety of all the survivors staying inside the building.

Fighting in the establishment will not be tolerated. Any survivor found lowering the barricades, breaking items, or harassing the girls will be summarily executed and have their carcass dumped outside for the Zeds.

Current Events

8 Nov. 2009. Neighborhood seems calm and the clients, many of them fleeing from the MOB assault in Earltown, seem quite happy.
