Introduction

"Boom boom aka laka laka laka boom, boom boom aka laka boom boom." ~Ancient and wise clan chieftan, 1987

In a world where civilians have become soldiers in their own right, fighting against an unstoppable enemy, and scientific groups continue to run experiments on the undead, panic and chaos reign supreme! Many groups and organizations have emerged, each with their own objectives and their own ways of dealing with the situation on the ground.

Emerging from the shadows are those willing to kill to serve their own purposes. For years now, these groups have fought to strike fear and terror into the hearts of men! Others still, seek to instil knowledge and understanding... Some say it was only a matter of time before the first of the PKer Wars occurred, while others have been planning on it since the beginning. Who shall come out on top? Who will live? Who will die? Only time will tell...

The above was written by Poodle of doom, who retains full right over the text, if he should ever return from his permaban request.

The Arena

Suburbs in grey are off limits, and serve as the boundaries. The colored suburbs, whose danger levels are represented, are the unwitting hosts of this event.

The Facts

The battle lines have been drawn out. Within them lie fourteen NT buildings, fourteen revive points, two malls, eight hospitals, and twenty eight dark buildings. There's plenty of space to hide out in, plenty of resource buildings, plenty of opportunities to rise up from the dead! Strategically this seemed like a prime area to set up shop for the first pitched PKer War!

This event is part of the Manhunt Marathon, a series of events with a cumulative scoring system.

Event Times

The games will begin on October 3rd, 00:00 GMT, and end October 16th at 11:59 GMT. All participating groups, and individuals, are required to be in the playing field at the start of the event, or will risk disqualification. All those interested in participation are required to register prior to the event. Individuals seeking to participate in the event should contact Yonnua Koponen.

Reporting of Kills

All kills are to be reported here, and screenshots must be hosted on the UD wiki. Do not post images to the talk page, instead, please link to them only. People submitting kills to be counted are required to provide the profile link of their victim, as to insure that the points are taken from the appropriate team. Failure to comply with these rules will result in forfeiture of said points being claimed.

Scoreboard Interpretation

Contestants shall be listed alphabetically. The killing participants, outside of ones group, are worth one point each. Each person's death shall negate one point for their team. The most kills shall determine the score, using the ratio in case of a tie, and from there, each teams placement in the competition. In the end, the team with the most overall points shall be victorious!

Updating of Scoreboard

It shall be the responsibility of the Discosaurs to maintain the scoreboard at all times. Please allow 24-48 hours for all updates to take place. If your points aren't adequately represented on the scoreboard, please email the Discosaurs via the link included on this talk page.

The Rules

  1. No zerging.
  2. You may not enlist the help of anyone not involved in this event, or those outside of your group. (ie, Broadcasting on the radio that one (or more) of the contestants are KOS.)
  3. Most kills win, whether made as a zombie or a survivor. A screenshot must be provided to validate the kill.
  4. No orchestrating between groups to team up on other contestants. (ie, a player from Group 1 and another from Group 2 may not "tag team" on one from Group 3).
  5. No tag teaming of individual players in separate groups. (ie, player 1 and player 2 may not "tag team" player 3). N.B. Players from within the same group may tag-team opposing team players.
  6. No kills on a contestant will be counted if both players involved are a zombie at the time (ZKing).
  7. You are not allowed to leave the playing area once the match begins.
  8. Participants must keep their group affiliations in their profile for the duration of the event.

As with any other manhunt-style event, any contestants not in accordance with these rules may be penalized and/or disqualified. For more information on rules four and five above, please click here.
