I've done that on purpose. A green fixed-with text on black background plainly has a certain retro appeal for me. (And I'd prefer to use a specific, more "ye olde home computer"-like font to make it clearer, but I prefer even more to make it look good across all browsers and PC set-ups.) And the FU logo is hard to reproduce in ASCII without black background. -- Spiderzed▋ 12:01, 18 September 2010 (BST)

One of my computers can't see the FU logo, and on the other, it looks like it contains 15 over-sized pixels, four of them forming a stair-ish pattern. I could screen shoot it if you want. --VVV ^RPMBG 19:55, 18 September 2010 (BST)
