- I have the following sexy ass damn code in my preferences:
- {{SUBST:Nosubst|User:Vapor/sig}} {{subst:LOCALTIME}}, {{subst:LOCALDAY}} {{subst:LOCALMONTHNAME}} {{subst:LOCALYEAR}}
- I also have the Raw signatures (without automatic link) box checked cuz that's how I roll and I always use three tildes when I want to sign my shit. Word. ~ 05:03, 14 April 2011

- Who doesn't feel like playing with more boobs? I've actually changed mine now (at least temporarily) to help cut down some of the template calls on the admin pages. I really liked not cluttering up discussion with sig code but if it helps not break pages, I'll take one for the team I guess. ~ Vapor ~ 15:43, 15 April 2011

- Wasn't there a case where we ruled that kind of sig was vandalism? Or did that change when I wasn't looking? --Karekmaps?! 04:44, 16 April 2011 (BST)
- Don't know. It's not against policy I don't think. I didn't go digging through old VB cases before I changed it. I can't imagine ruling vandalism on something like it, though. What grounds? ~ ~ 06:57, 16 April 2011
- Will peruse and get back to you. --Karekmaps 2.0?! 12:39, 16 April 2011 (BST)
- Iscariot had a similar one (may still have it as his sig). I found them troublesome, because the only way you can check who made the comment, is to check the history, or click on the link. We should be able to tell, just by mouseovering the link, who made a comment. Some wiki gurus have found a way around it, I think, so that mouseovering the image shows a link to the userpage. I don't think anyone bothered to send Iscariot, or anyone else, to A/VB for it though -- boxy talk • teh rulz 12:50 16 April 2011 (BST)
- Basically, the arguement is that a link to your user page is required in your sig. A redirect from an image page doesn't exactly fit the criterian. It's not a problem when it's obvious who's sig it is (ie. if the image spells out the name, or a close approximation), but it has the potential to be used to be intentionally misleading -- boxy talk • teh rulz 12:53 16 April 2011 (BST)
- I remember that actually, found it cause of you archiving stuff. Link to that discussion and the solutions there in. Here is another instance of that being brought up. Found a few more too. The Burgan one looks relevant, not definite on that though, it's a Clarity issue like the sexylegsread A/VB case(that I didn't link here) brings up. --Karekmaps 2.0?! 14:33, 16 April 2011 (BST)
- I'll change it up a bit. ~ ~ 17:02, 16 April 2011
- Would it be acceptable if I used an image with my entire username in it without including an actual link to my user page. I'm trying to come up with something that is not templated yet does not subst a bunch of code when I sign. If I don't have the option to use only an image then I'll likely just go back to a templated sig. √^¶°® ™ 21:43, 16 April 2011

- Cool. I'll work on it an make it more NPOV. At the minimum, it needs to have an NPOV statement at the top of the page. ~ ~ 19:39, 15 April 2011
