You are inside the Millet Building, the walls are bent in some places. A stairwell has been slightly contorted. Splashes and prints of blood have dried on the walls. Also here are Totes (45HP) and Volker (50HP).
Somebody has spraypainted Keep doors closed, Keep others out onto a wall.
- You follow Volker (with Totes, too) and leave the building, crossing to the next, without touching the pavement by hopping between fire escapes. And the the group of you three do this for a while, as most buildings are crammed together and within suitable hopping distance. The dead are left behind, and the streets are quiet once more.
You never see Volker tire, but every symptom of a secret condition manifests in apparently benign ways: though his skin whitens, though his skin is clammy, and though he breathes laboriously, he never slows.
