Yeah, I logged out to see what was up after Stelar e-mailed me via the SoC boards, and then promptly found myself locked out of my account. Thankfully, Kevan was quick to respond to Bob and we were all back in action pretty quickly.

Also, I realized I don't get notified about PMs on NecroConnect, and after looking through the board preferences, I'm not actually sure that there's a way to do it at all. Wish there was, since I don't check it unless I'm prompted to, and I wouldn't mind having it as a backup means of reaching me for people who don't know about the SoC or get locked out of the wiki. —Aichon— 14:45, 11 April 2017 (UTC)

There's no option for email notification from PMs, but you can enable an "Allow members to email you?" setting under Email & Subscription settings. You can also get emails from mass announcements, but I think we've only done one of those since the forum was set up almost two years ago. Bob Moncrief ^EBD•W! 16:50, 11 April 2017 (UTC)

Yeah, that's the most annoying thing I've found with NecroConnect. I don't think I've ever been part of a forum ever without an option to get email notifications for PMs. Just glad we're back to normal now. Being locked out of the wiki wasn't very fun. stelar (talk) 20:54, 11 April 2017 (UTC)

Thanks and a Question

Hi Bob, thanks for welcoming me to the community. My activities may be rather limited right now, but I have a question that I want answered. It would appear that for the External Military Reports, that reports of "a dozen" are recorded as ~1dzn in short form, but this breaks the formatting in the External Military Report Map. I'm sure that I can't just change rules willy-nilly, and someone else in the past appears to have had a problem with this (as far back as 2009!) and not had any response on the discussions section of the rules for interpreting and recording External Military Reports. So with that in mind, do you know who I would contact to propose a change from ~1dzn to ~12 and ~2dzn to ~24? It seems that some users are just going with that anyway, ignoring the rules, so it would seem natural to have it changed. Thanks again and I hope you have a happy holidays. Alphabetizing

Hola - is "the" not included in the ordering as the group specifically use this to refer to themselves? Like, "The Flowers of Decay", not just "Flowers of Decay". --Ash  ^{|  T  |  яя  |} 11:35, 25 December 2017 (UTC)
