Description
History
Once a fine place to shop and grab a bite to eat, Laurence Walk used to feature several high-profile restaurants, such as The Green Spork, Jermontt & Sons Pastries and Parlez Pas. Entertaining a steady stream of business from the nearby motels, Laurence Walk was set to become one of the hottest spots in Malton for upper-middle class dining. Unfortunately, the outbreak saw its restaurants ransacked for food and its kitschy shops burned to the ground in the wake of riots and fires. Local survivor legend has it that the restaurants' recipe books are still somewhere amidst the rubble and ruin, and that if they could be smuggled out of the city they'd fetch a fine price at auction.
