Welcome
Hi Catherine Cushing! I'm just dropping by to welcome you to UDWiki on behalf of Project Welcome! If you have any questions or need any help, you can reach me anytime at my talk page. Have a great day! Bob Moncrief EBD•W! 17:13, 18 February 2019 (UTC)
- Hi again! Thanks so much for the kind words!
- The easiest character template I know of is Template:Character (instructions on that page). The "buttons" you're referring to are called Userboxes; there's no central hub for creating them, but you can navigate to one (example), copy its code to your userspace and adjust it. If there's a different element or layout that you like from anyone's userpage, I highly encourage you to copy-paste the code, and mess with it to your liking. Your userpage is intended as a sandbox of sorts, so feel free to play around.
- I hope that's helpful! Bob Moncrief EBD•W! 12:18, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
Peter Cushing
Just wandering if he has been the inspiration for your handle? -- Spiderzed▋ 22:39, 6 March 2019 (UTC)
- Oh, yeah! He was probably my favorite old horror movie star, maybe tied up with Boris Karloff. Peter Cushing was a terrific character actor as well as a d#mned fine human being. (What's not to love, right?)--Catherine Cushing (talk) 02:00, 7 March 2019 (UTC)
- He was a real treasure. Christopher Lee noted in his biography that he looked after everyone on the set, down to the lowliest stagehand - or even a fledgling young nobody actor like Christopher Lee.
- From the first time we met on the set of The Curse of Frankenstein at Bray [Studios], Peter Cushing and I [Christopher Lee] were friends. Our very first encounter began with me barging into his dressing room and announcing in petulant tones: "I haven't got any lines!" He looked up, his mouth twitched, and he said drily:
- "You're lucky. I've read the script."

- Thanks for sharing that terrific anecdote. I'll have to read Christopher Lee's autobiography. Catherine Cushing (talk) 09:17, 8 March 2019 (UTC)

Pages
I just saw your post on ZombGG's journal. In theory you could create pages that are based on dates, like; .../index.php/Catherine-24-04-19 and with those create some sort of book where you can "next page" when you read one of them. Just a thought - hit me if you need help. -- 11:25, 24 March 2019 (UTC)
A gift
Hope this is what you're looking for. Let me know if anything is unclear.

Templates
Hey! I saw your question on Reimannsum's talk page about the Knights Templar template. I just wanted to let you know that any of those you can actually see the coding for them by going to http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/Template:XXXX where the XXXX is whatever the name of the template is. So for instance, the KT one you were asking about is at http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/Template:Knights_Templar, and then if you click the edit button, you can see the coding and how it was created. You can just leave the page without editing it at all, so hitting the edit button doesn't mean you actually have to do anything :) Hope that helps a bit! stelar Talk|MCM|EBD|Scourge 11:55, 27 March 2019 (UTC)
