Recognition of SweetIrony as Malton's Final Mayor

Declaration on Behalf of the Citizens of Malton

The citizens of Malton recognize SweetIrony as the new mayor of Malton, effective immediately, and strongly support her courageous decision to assume that role in the final hours preceding doomsday, in restoring democracy to Urban Dead.

For fifteen long years, Malton's people have suffered under current mayor Jorm's disastrous dictatorship, with the last mayoral election held in 2010. In response to demands for fair elections and term limits, Jorm has not only refused to step down as mayor for a peaceful transition of power, but declared himself emperor of Malton instead.

We call on Jorm to step aside in favor of a legitimate leader reflecting the will of the people. We, the citizens of Malton, support SweetIrony as she establishes a transitional government, and leads Malton, as the city prepares for total annihilation. We urge all of Malton's citizens to support this democratic process.

The new Malton government carries the flame of democracy on behalf of Malton as we descend into oblivion.
