Do it for the Children!

I mean really, you guys should archive this page!

Anyway, that's not why I'm here. I was looking at your Cagier Division page, and noticed your list of PKers. You'd have alot easier time keeping track of them if you'd use the DEM Pk list. You can just search for active PKers within X blocks of the mall, and add/remove them as you see fit. Just thought you might want to know. Have a good one!--Your Lingering Resentment 11:50, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

As you may have noticed

The politics have been resolved and we're moving closer towards a major push on the mall every day. Check the Darvalls/Chudleys pages for details on what we're trying to organize. You might also want to check the CMS and NMC forums and conference with everyone there to help develop a universal strategy. See you in the food court. Tyler Whitney0 07:45, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

Okay

The CMS strike groups have been reorganized. I basically folded the 4 groups into 2. One for east, one west. Check the CMS page for the Darvalls and the Chudleys for updates. It might be good if the brigade switched over to the west side's Chudleys just to balance out the groups but I'll leave that to you guys to decide. I'll see you in the food court. ZAF

The Zombie Annihilation Faction would like to say hello to Fire Brigade 47. We are new to Earletown and consider you allies. We hope you will think the same of us; if you need help killing zombies we will be happy to oblige.

Anything needed?

So I know I am only a lowly level 2 and still quite new to this, but I've admitted the problem and am seeking help for the condition. Which brings me to my point, what should I be doing? Hacking up zombies is good and all but what else can I do to help support our little stronghold? So far my skill points have only gone to melee talents, are any skills needed within this group? My inventory so far only includes: axe, wirecutters(useless I've heard), a portable generator(what building to put this in?), and 2 radios. Any other items I should be collecting? Thanks in advance. --N0TAPYR0 20:23, 3 August 2006 (BST)

I put up the notice, jouson told me and i found out for myself the place was overbarricaded, the barricade needs to stay at very strongly or below because the fire station is full of new players who lack free running.

As for the situation of pk'ing, search this wiki for information on reporting the player killer http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/PK_Reporting

if you die, ames plaza is a few blocks east of us, it is a manned revive point.

2nd Reply

Ive edited the wiki on the notice, telling the situation is resolved.

As for the pker, well, ill see if i can kill him later today when i have more AP. Try and notify BOW to this pker. BOW are another, bigger, group in the area will probably kill him off for you.

Thanks

Thanks to Firewarlord for the heals and to both jousen and firewarlord for there advice and help. back up to 31 hp though he tried to kill me some more during the night last night. I got the name wrong at first its Kryptonium and we should all be on watch for him, I personally can't wait to meet him with my axe and some AP. --N0TAPYR0 13:06, 2 August 2006 (BST)

Horde?

A couple of survivors in the station said they are running from a horde of zeds, they didn't say where the zombies were heading but they did say the station looks to be in thier path. There is definately an increased number of zombies in the blocks adjacent to the firestation. Has anyone else heard anything about a zombie horde or what their destination might be? My radio keeps giving messages about Caiger Mall being attacked, but thats far away and only because I still don't know what frequency to use in our area. Once again thanks for the save yesterday guys.--N0TAPYR0 18:33, 2 August 2006 (BST)

Horde reply

Yeh i got some info on that, one survivor told me that the big bash's path may involve coming through the suburb. Needless to say, these zombies could be the first of a huge horde heading our way. We shouldnt panic though. My advice is to check on the big bash's page to see if one of their targets involves coming through earletown. If so then maybe an evacuation may be required as resources buildings will be targeted.

Of course, these zombies could simple have clumped together. I will take a look at the big bash's wiki page and see if i can find out about their path.

Okay, ive found out that the big bash doesnt run its course of mayhem in the north of malton. So we're relatively safe from them. It could be drunken dead that come through here, seeing as they have had past history with this suburb.

Generator

I see our zombie spy wrecked the generator, but really what use was it? I let the zeds know we were here, you cant find fuel cans for it in the station though there is a chance of finding the generator. Only two other things of value to be searched for here is flare guns and the radio I found. Increased search percentage is nice but is there somewhere that powering might help more? There is a hospital 3 blocks to the west anyone been there? Is it powered? Would powering it be more beneficial so we can get FAKs? I went to the factory 2 blocks west this morning and searched till I came up with a generator but didn't find any fuel cans. That building is unpowered, would it be more beneficial to power the factory first to search for fuel cans, more generators, and crowbars(best barricade breaking weapon in the game per wiki items list)? I'd be happy to set the generator out in the fire station if the group thinks thats the best idea, that way someone else with a fuel can could power it up. Just wondered if we should really turn the "humans are inside" sign on again you know? --N0TAPYR0 13:54, 3 August 2006 (BST)

Generator reply

Resource buildings (like firestations) are usually targeted anyway. Plus the dead bodies around would be evidence of defence against zombies. And dont forget that the building is barricaded, which would show a possibility of survivor life.

Powering a hospital would be good. Ive read that when you use FAKs in a powered hospital you heal more HP but besides the increased search rater there isnt a great deal more that hospitals, or any other building, does.

Powering the factory would be good but unless we post guards there zombies will break-in and trash the place. We need to use resources wisely.

Going west

Went west to hospital to try to get in man I messed up, it kept falling apart but still was too heavily barricaded, wasted too many action points never got inside, one got me guys, sorry, good knowing you try and stay alive.--N0TAPYR0 14:21, 4 August 2006 (BST)

NOTAPYRO it isnt the end. Head to ames plaza (79,6) which is 7 blocks due east of you and wait there (in a zombified form, not dead) until you get revived. Either that or post a revivification request here and await revival at ames plaza.

If you want FAK's use the hospital north-west of shufflebotham boulevard firestation.

Reply

The only hospital that remains open is the one to the northwest, use it until you have free running and can go to the southeast one. Generators won't be important in the fire station until we start getting some radio operators and need transmitters set up in any buildings we may set up shop in. when our group spreads out we'll need that communication. I have a character in caiger, the situation there is improving, those guys can handle it. also, fuel cans are found in auto repair shops, there is one southeast of us.

I'm back

Much thanks for that link for revivication, I'm now back among the living if not back in Shufflebotham. Overbarricaded again luckily this time I had enough AP to go to the Factory 3 blocks West of the station, got like 5 roomates in there with me and barricades are VS and holding. Found my crowbar and 2 cans of fuel in the factory to boot. Let me know when the barricades come back down, I still want in the Fire Station to search for some flare guns and another generator would be nice, till then I'll kill some zombies and go to the NW Hospital mentioned. --N0TAPYR0 13:47, 7 August 2006 (BST)

Excellent to have you back with us. Im currently holed up myself at gage musuem and i think Firewarlord is at clare general hospital or something like that.

By the way, have you seen myricas anywhere? He dissappeared not too long ago. We'll keep you informed on the barricades.

Move Base

I returned to shufflebotham fire station from my clare general first aid kit collecting mission. I noticed there are signifigantly less people holding up there (only 27, it was around 70) I'm thinking since most of the people are leaving and no new people seem to be coming in, maybe we should move our main headquarters and focus on clare general hospital, maybe post a light guard to take care of shufflebotham, however the main reason I wanted to hold ground there seems to be losing it's importance.

also, I found myricas, he's back in shufflebotham

Ill return to shufflebotham, keep up the recruitment drive. I wonder why the crowd is dispersing?...

Free Running

Got my level today finally, took free running, anywhere I should be gathering supplies at? I'd really like a flak jacket but that involves a pretty long trip. I also got 4 FAK's at the hospital so let me know if I can return any favors you guys have done for me. If you want to move base, I'll agree on that, we can still have scouts check that the firestations are accessable and not ransacked. Sorry if this post doesn't flow its early here.--N0TAPYR0 13:27, 8 August 2006 (BST)

Flak Jacket

Hi. GrownUpSurvivor here from the Red Army, checking in on our allies and weighing in with some aged wisdom. Flak Jackets are not that helpful to survivors. They do nothing to reduce zombie attack effectiveness.

The best place to get supplies by far is a Mall. (Enhanced even more by having the shopping skill.) Searching a drug store or gun store has higher percentages than hospitals and police stations.--GrownUpSurvivor 18:00, 8 August 2006 (BST)

Checkin in

Hey guys been a few days everybody still alive I hope. Have in my possession 7 medkits, 2 generators, 3 fuel cans, and 2 radios. Anywhere or way I can put these to use for the group? I'm 20 XP away from my next skill which will probably be diagnosis since the only way I'm gonna be able to get XP in this area is from healing. Haven't seen a zombie in 2 days... freakin quiet is buggin me. I may still make that trip to the nearest police station/ammo store/mall for guns/ammo/flack jacket(despite its limited use I have been PK'd once and anything helps) and just to see some action(gotta get XP somehow). Stay alive guys, and let me know if I can help anyone out with a specific radio channel, healing, or turning the power back on somewhere.--N0TAPYR0 20:44, 10 August 2006 (BST)

Earletown danger level

I turned down the level of danger to safe due to virtually no activity of zombies and non-existent break-ins.

Ive gotten shopping and bargain hunting now. I might start wondering off to Dulston's mall in search of supplies. It seems the further south you go in the city the more dangerous it gets.

Reply to both

We need to concentrate our efforts on taking back and re-securing clare general hospital, they need our help as they keep having break ins, they can use a generator and fuel once their building is zed free.

FireWarlord

Clare General Hospital

Stopped in earlier to drop off that generator and get it started up which was a successful mission. Barricades were way too built up when I got there and per the graffitti I busted 'em back down to VS. There were 2 or 3 zeds in the area surrounding the building which kinda shocked me as I just said yesterday I hadn't seen any. FireWarlord was sleeping in the hospital so if any dead knock hopefully he can build the cades back up. I'm back in Shufflebotham for the next 2 days so if someone can check on the place over the weekend it'd be appreciated. --N0TAPYR0 18:26, 11 August 2006 (BST)

Something has gone terribly wrong

I was making a checkin before I left the net for 2 days and didn't have the AP to do anything about the info but I am passing it on, according to the last person to speak in Shufflebotham: "Clare Hospital is under attack, doors wide open zombies inside!" I moved over to the Eldridge Building using free running as the cades over there are higher than the stations but thats all the AP I had, I'll say a prayer for FireWarlord cause he's gonna need it, any one that can help please help the people at Clare. --N0TAPYR0 20:18, 11 August 2006 (BST)

Reply

I'm ok, I went on, the genny was destroyed again, there were two zeds inside, I killed one but one was left and 5-6 zeds outside. I caded the place up a bit and left orders to the remaining survivors to scramble.

I've fallen back to etheldreda, clare is being overrun and is a losing fight at the moment in my opinion. let the zeds chew on the building and get bored with it before we move in again.

Also anybody at shufflebotham should continue the recruiting drive, point them to the wiki and ask them to join

Jouson

What happened to Jouson? he's dissapeared from our wiki....

FireWarlord

Hindmarsh Row Police Department

Hey N0TAPYR0 checkin in, finally took my trip over to the police station to look for ammo. Trip took a while as buildings are overbarricaded and I ended up having to stop off at Ames for a res. Have not seen Jouson sorry. The police department is unenterable without free running, the entrance is St Albans Hospital 2 blocks to the south. It's nice to feel secure, the station has heavy barricading, a generator, and a transmitter set to 29.00. I have barricading now too. Any updates on the Clare Hospital situation? Sorry guys but I'm probably gonna be here for a while gathering stuff, but we can party when I get back sometime next week. Stay alive till then guys.--N0TAPYR0 16:18, 17 August 2006 (BST)

Reply

I'm at st. albans right now, last I checked clare was doing fine, no zeds around. I'm currently aiming for the necrotech stuff so I can revive people

Lines of Communication

I've sent my cop character, Darkbosh up from giddings witb 2 radio transmitters. The transmitters have been set up in shufflebotham and clare general, i'm working on getting them hooked up to powered generators now. With this step we can begin to bringing earletown together.

FireWarlord

Treweekee

FireWarlord is currently in dulston in a hospital by the mall over there, he's learned the necrotech skills for reviving bodies. to avoid being accused of zerging he is in dulston while darkbosh visits earletown.

FireWarlord

Lines of Communication part 2

Ok, the transmitters have been set up and powered and their frequencies are synchronised to 28.01 Mhz which is a frequency you can broadcast from without the radio operator skill. if you have personal radios then set them to 28.01 which is our channel for the time being, if broadcasting, try to identify your location.

FireWarlord

The Big Bash

Word is the big bash is heading north. Now they may be targeting dulston and the mall there but we should prepare for a zombie invasion anyway. High priority buildings (hospitals, auto repair, necrotech, fire stations etc...) should be barricaded to extremly heavily, leave entry points however. If you don't have construction and free running then I suggest you get them. cade up some nondescript buildings to extremely heavily as well to be used as safehouses. be sure to stock up on first aid kits and ammunition (if you are a gun user) as you may have to rest in buildings where such items are unavailable. also it might be wise to carry spare fuel/generators/transmitters as you never know how long these items will last if we get invaded. remember the standard transmitter frequency we are using should be 28.01. Remember to be careful and not get yourself killed. in case people do get killed we must protect the necrotech facility north of ames plaza (ames plaza is the revive point.

FireWarlord

BOW

I'm going to work with BOW in synchronising our efforts against the big bash.

Enemies: Dick Greasy - "Disturbed dan saw this player killing other survivers in Earletown"

Is there a place we can talk about these accusations? I was afraid I would get your attention in the wrong kind of way (ie: like this) but didn't know how to reach you guys. I do, in fact, kill survivors: spies, traitors and overbarricaders to be exact. I sure don't like to mess with your wiki page like this, so... where can we talk, in private.

My Apologies

I'm sorry for miss interperating your actions when i saw you killing that survivor, i will remove your profile from the enemies list and if you do want to talk to me about this then you can email me or add me on msn, my address is on the wiki Disturbed dan 17:51, 2 September 2006 (BST)

reply

In light of the big bash being in malton's northeast corner I would urge you all to leave overbarricaders alone as they are trying to make sure buildings are secure from the oncoming hordes. although I urge overbarricaders to take care to inform people where the entry points are.

FireWarlord

Earletown

Zombified scouts in Earletown report the bash has reached Earletown if only unofficially. shufflebotham, clare, st adrian and the necrotech all appear to have fallen and there are hordes of zeds on every block. etheldreda appears to be holding some ground, the survivor situation there is unknown however. Most of the more important points in earletown appear to have been overrun. The once quiet neighborhood is quiet no more. Brigade members who are still living and still in earletown are advised once again to head to treweeke mall in dulston where we are making our stand, the mall is being held firmly by a large number of survivors and is safe. We too in dulston fight the bash, but we have the strength of an army.

FireWarlord

Checkin in

The res line was a long one yesterday outside the mall but I finally made it. First thing I did was hook up a generator and fuel it up in the NE corner of the mall. Also did some barricading, but I am really looking forward to some zed stompin because I'm only 4 points away from my next skill which will probably be shopping since I'm out here at the mall. No generator or fuel left but I do have 5 medkits and some flares if I can put those to use for anyone. Anything need done besides barricading or zombie killin? Anyway good luck to everyone thats turned up at the mall--N0TAPYR0 14:10, 7 September 2006 (BST)

Reply

Those who joined me at the mall are advised to not attack the bash as it wastes ap and most of them will only spend 1-6 ap to stand up. use your ap for barricades, healing, searching and revives. every little bit of defense helps.

By the way, who all has joined me in dulston? counting me I have found 8 brigade members over there.

I know of Disturbed Dan, Night Child, Squiz, Kwudgeabloo and MagsMagsMags there. Squiz, Kwudgeabloo and MagsMagsMags, however are deceased and are seeking revives as we speak. The mall is majorly breached at this point in time, there are about 70 zombies in the NW corner at my last count. Some people are talking about a tactical withdrawal to the Waish Building but i don't think that will happen as we have far more higher chance of survival in the mall even with the larger breach, but we can take it back!! We have to! Good Luck everyone i think we'll need it.

Mall Destroyed

Man what happened sometime last night I guess we lost Trewekke, I've retreated back to Ames Plaza for a res.--N0TAPYR0 21:09, 11 September 2006 (BST)

Reply

I'm resting in the train station north of the mall, Luckily I chose to sleep in the lower left corner when the mall was breeched and didn't take much damage so I went to the train station north of the mall. I have a couple needles so I can do some revives when I get the ap, however you need to contact me personally so we can arrange a secure revive. The bash pounced on me when I went to revive mags a couple days ago so I want to spend as little time outside as possible. I'm in private communication with one of the members of BOW regarding our next plans, whether we stay in dulston or fall back to earletown has not been decided. [1] go there (the BOW board) to talk about things.

Question

Hey people, just wondering how many of us there actually are at Dowdney Mall ([75, 28] for those who arn't) in Santlerville, I know of a few people who are there already but I was just wondering who else is there? Disturbed dan 21:33, 20 September 2006 (BST)

Invitation to the BOW Forums

Just to let you know, all of you FB47 blokes are more than welcome on the BOW forums. At the very least the scouting reports and revive threads are worth your attention. Again, we at BOW are really thankful to have you guys working with us in Earletown. http://bowsg.proboards75.com/index.cgi -SJC Cato 19:18, 26 September 2006 (BST)

Not dead..... yet.

This is BillybobJoeBo, I'm not missing.

Just dead.

For a real ****ing long time.

We can revive you, but we need your position. head over to ames plaza if you can.

I got a Syringe when you get there, just to let you know I'm sure others have them too though. make your way to ames plaza and we can work out something from there.

oh by the way I took you off our missing board and I added you back to our members board:)

Disturbed Dan

I feel misrepresented

Front page says all origional members are gone, but I've been here, and from the post 2 above me so is Billyjobo. On other news can we get a list put up of what will be entrance points for the station and nearby hospitals/resource buildings? I like the idea of cading up the resources so we can put in generators and transmitters I'm just havin a hard time remebering how to get back in after I go zed bashin.--N0TAPYR0 14:42, 4 October 2006 (BST)

Generator and Radio for Shufflebotham

Hey I've got a gen, fuel, and a transmitter to go in the station but the cades are kinda lacking and a zed is outside so I didn't put it down yet. Anyone in the area that could help up the cades and kill that zed would be apreciated cause I'm low on AP. Also I'm thinking of starting the Shufflebotham wiki and anyone with more experience that wants to fix my mistakes there, go ahead.--N0TAPYR0 16:56, 8 October 2006 (BST)

Confused on cade's

Front page says the station is an entry point, is this still true? Dont see too many people using the station or its "current" entry point 1 south, make cades EHB or not.--N0TAPYR0 15:57, 10 October 2006 (BST)

Zombies!

Lots and lots of them around the station hard for a single firefighter to kill them all with his axe, anyone some help here?--N0TAPYR0 20:03, 12 October 2006 (BST)

Revive List

Hey guys, Skippy Joe from BOW here. I was looking around your page and noticed that the link you had on your main page to our revive thread on you forums was out of date, so I went ahead and updated it to send viewers to the appropriate place. Happy hunting!--Skippy Joe 00:18, 15 October 2006 (BST)

zeds in the station

2 zeds at shufflebotham and I dont have the AP to save the newbies in there, some help?--N0TAPYR0 18:02, 19 October 2006 (BST)

Congratulations

Well done to everyone who helped claim back Earletown from the clutches of the zombies. Earletown is safe (proof is that I stayed outside for 12 hours and only lost 6hp:p), for now, but keep watch as the Zed's will be back.
