Reply to Southern Alliance:

Ah the name rings a bell. I did attempt to make a vast hub of Southern groups to co-operate with one another by keeping them mobile, Sad part is we didn't get enough members to see through.

Groups inside the Alliance would have had free reign to do as they please as long as they donated a certain % of their manpower to the Alliance for areas / malls / forts that need it.

The Southern Alliance is a Lighthearted organization, and wants to have fun with the game.

Southern Alliance goals: To barricade / revive member groups / reclaim red zones

There was going to be: Nexus Security Council (Non Elected but appointed by Council members)- An internal affairs bureau Mostly aimed to solve internal problems with groups and disputes, Alliance Officers (Elected by member groups as SA's main military bigshots) These folks are re-elected every 3 months and represent the Alliance, they decide how to use the manpower % in the south and where it's the most useful. Group members who were elected would give up their member groups status while serving as a council member thus to eliminate any hidden agendas.

Alliance Troops - People who are independent and don't wish to join any of the groups within the SA; they are the Bounty Hunting group within the SA that is closely tied to Southern Malls and help member groups with Pking problems directly.

The Alliance is designed to quickly reclaim red zones / supply areas and routes / Malls in the SSZ and the southern half of Malton in general. The Alliance would not provide additional defense forces to an oncoming threat of zombies instead it would follow the horde's wake and clean up after they pass through. The Alliance doesn't worry about death it's primary concern is keeping the South as clean as possible. The Alliance is pushy of it's member groups hanging too long in green zones, When a suburb is safe member groups aren't needed there anymore and gently sends orders to groups inside these suburbs to move onto something bigger.

When I designed the Alliance it was set up during the first Big Bash, everyone wanted to play a heroic defense survivor in one building I would've rather had it the other way around of going to the zombies, killing them inside buildings and then heading to the next building to do the same.

Hope some of this helped.

Thank you for the thorough reply, it sounds exactly like what I had hoped initially..I'm considering seeing if I can get something like that started again. With the present difficulties, various groups may be more receptive to the idea. --RichterFury 21:03, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

Suburb

How about you DON'T upgrade suburbs to green from now on? It should be common sense, if you do they won't be green for long. --RichterFury 13:34, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

Then just turn the whole danger map of Malton red and be done with it :S That map was made to inform survivors of possible safe areas. Keeping safe areas red, to prevent zombies from going there is just ridiculous. --Jarlian 15:09, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
Safe areas stay safe a lot longer if you don't upgrade the suburb map about it, that should be pretty obvious. Those who want to know safe areas can either find them themselves or check the various forums. If they are aware of the wiki they should know enough to be able to find out things elsewhere. You aren't helping survivors, you are just helping zeds find out where survivors are. --RichterFury 16:04, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
Then what's the point in having a dangermap at all? The zombies created it to find out where we are? Think about the non metagaming people that are looking for a safe area. Survivors who think about quitting when they can't find a safe area? I suggest you spend your energy in providing more green suburbs instead of misleading allies and enemies like this. And if you really still feel you are right, take down the complete dangermap instead feeding it with misinformation like this. The Department of Emergency Management, being a responsible and fair organisation, does not believe in misinformation. And I surely won't let you undo my dangermap updates. You have a nice day. --Jarlian 16:17, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
Right now yes, the danger map does a better job of helping zeds find out where we are than it does helping survivors. Surely you've seen how they love taking out green suburbs? What I've suggested is not feeding false info, what I'm saying is that you shouldn't be updating it at all. I spend all my AP and much of my time helping out survivors so kindly fuck yourself if you are implying otherwise and YOU have a nice day, sir. --RichterFury 18:19, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

So um...

I was rather impressed with the co-ordination between you and Mr Vale on this rather classy bounty. Right down to the graffiti outside. I'll be sure to put it in my next blog. I'm a little disappointed that you didn't ask me what my questions were though. I suppose this is what one has to expect from bible bashers. Say, while I'm here, you got a character in Monroeville, Aiden? :) --Amber Waves of Pain 20:50, 1 July 2008 (BST)

Thanks for the compliment, I've been pretty impressed with you as well. In fact if it wasn't for the whole psychopathic atheist thing I might try to recruit you. If you ever run into me again you can ask me those questions and I'll get back to you on them sooner or later. As for Monroeville? I have a couple, Smiling B0b was already torn apart by horny zed women and my other one you'll never guess. :) --AidenFury

Sorry

Yeah. I deserved that one today. For trying to frame you. Did you hear about that? I think it was you... Need sleep.--Secruss|Yak|Brahnz!|CGR|PKA|800px-Flag of the United States.svg.png|EMLN|Templates|RRF|RFTM|Crap|WHOZ|Evil3.gif|MU|GN|C2008|Chippy.gif|02:48, 31 August 2008 (BST)
