Nowadays, different decorative items may be found there. Generally, the descriptions found in Museums fall along the lines of "…currently displaying a(n) exhibition/installation/collection of _____________" Museums can be barricaded normally.

The Sawday Museum is a Scientific History Museum found at [50,81] in the suburb of West Grayside. It features an extensive "exhibition of scientific history now thick with dust". Though of little use in the post-apocalyptic world, the historical displays (mainly focused on beekeeping) are thoughtfully laid out, and very educational. Well worth a visit!

There is a large diorama of life in a Roman village in the center of the atrium. Originally, this showed the manufacturing process for honey in ancient times, it is protected by stout lucite. But a child has apparently gotten into it at some point, as it has been thoroughly smashed, and tiny bootprints are visible in the wreckage.

A large portrait of Professor Sawday, a goggle-eyed, owl-like old man, hangs over the entrance.

HISTORY

The museum was founded by Proffessor Charles Sawday in the late 1920's. Sawday was a world traveler with a fascination for insects, particularly bees. He made a small fortune inventing new techniques for beekeeping and honey harvesting, and even had his own brand of honey with his picture on the label for a time. Sawday was also a brilliant mathematician, lecturing throughout Europe on the subject. Albert Einstein and Kurt Gödel both studied under Sawday. Though known as a kind man, he never married, instead pouring his resources into this museum towards the end of his life.

It has been reported, by those sensitive to such things, that his ghost still hovers about the place. It is the melancholy figure of a grey-haired old man, with large spectacles, who seems to want to show them something.

According to the West Grayside Barricade Plan, the Sawday Museum should be Extremely Heavily Barricaded.
