Pre-writing period

Do not remember much. Something about military deployment. Map indicates that I have been sent to the suburb East Boundwood. Made my way through the area to the west, picking up some basic skills in survival.

Memories are vague.

8 July, 2010

Walked from Quarlesbank to Dakerstown. Area appears to be mostly devoid of human habitation, with some zombie activity. Signs indicate abundant Communist/Socialist activity as well, although no actual individuals belonging to said ideologies has been seen.

Found St. Bartholomew's Hospital to be ruined, slight zombie presence inside. Threw out two bodies from a junkyard and barricaded it. The graffiti inside indicated that the building is to be heavily defended, due to it's free-running lane status. Strange.

Made camp in the Buttle Building, located in the central area of the suburb and next to the hospital. Barricaded but abandoned - No other survivors in the nearby area. The graffiti inside indicates use as a communications/broadcasting centre by a local Communist faction. No other evidence for this, though. There is a mobile phone mast, which is out of service due to a lack of fuel. It is odd how so much infrastructure can be undamaged.

Began writing today.

Still awaiting further instructions from High Command.

9 July, 2010

Headed down south.

Found that a survivor had entered the Buttle Building. A member of the local faction "FUACK". He was heavily wounded. Also found members of the "Malton Anarchist Federation", the "Urban Guerrillas" and the "Communist Party of Malton", as well as more propaganda graffiti. Political status of suburb most likely confirmed

Noticed that Swearse Lane PD was down. Found the barricades of several structures of moderate importance to be loosely inadequate. Stobbart Walk PD was filled with wounded citizens, some of which severely. Moved on.

Briefly entered Roywood. Moved back into Dakerstown. Saw that the Pask Building was under attack by around five undead. Found the NecroTech technology inside to be highly interesting.

Decided to stay in a warehouse close to the north-west. Not in a very good standard, but there are citizens, barricades and a fueled generator. Used my last medical supplies to aid a member of the previously mentioned "FUACK", and warned the inhabitants of the Pask Building's status.

Still awaiting further instructions from High Command.

10 July, 2010

Little activity today.

Overheard a conversation between the citizens in the warehouse. The will to fight seems high.

Walked up north to St Ansgar's Hospital. Found a lot of medical supplies. Used most of them to aid a heavily wounded citizen back in the warehouse, who appeared especially eager to fight.

Went back to sleep quickly. Not feeling well.

Still awaiting further instructions from High Command.

11 July, 2010

Decided to move down south, out of the suburb.

Had to go down to the streets, as several structures were too ruined to pass through.

Spent some time scavenging in the Martland Museum. No idea why. Found two stuffed moose heads. Odd.

Found a fire axe and a radio in Melbourne Square Fire Station.

Decided to stay in the Gerrard Place PD. Good barricades and plenty of people. Most seem to belong to local militia groups.

Still awaiting further instructions from High Command.

12 July, 2010

Discovered that several undead had broken in during the night, and attacked. The wound was infected - fixed it with some of the medical supplies that was left. One citizen was dragged outside and killed, and most in the building were wounded and infected as well.

Decided to drop off one of the moose heads. Was unable to leave the second one. Odd.

Walked down south again, but had to go slightly to the north-east as there were no free-running lanes available. Should get a map of the region.

Found some more medical supplies in St Luke's Hospital, Chudleytown. Helped a wounded citizen in the Ackermen Hotel, West Becktown.

Went to sleep in St Tsarevna's Church, after barricading it slightly. Found odd seemingly occult symbols painted on the walls. Not that bothering, though.

Still awaiting further instructions from High Command.

13 July, 2010

No obvious activity during the night. Went outside, heading for the suburb Owsleybank. Heard vague rumours of an attempt to break out of the quarantine area there.

Found a fuel can in Dobin Auto Repair. Saw that the local phone mast was out of order.

Finally found Ellicott Place Railway Station, apparently the location of the attempt. The area seemed odd, somehow. Noticed several citizen with a strange appearance - upon investigation, noticed that their flesh was rotten. Seems strongly unreliable.

Went to a factory to the south-east. Tried to find a generator, but only found a crowbar. Fell asleep - very tired. Not feeling well.

Still awaiting further instructions from High Command.

14 July, 2010

Continued searching. Found some pipes, another crowbar, a toolbox and a generator. Dropped the crowbar and pipes. Installed and fueled the generator in Dobin Auto Repair, activating the phone mast.

Went to the northern part of the suburb to check its status. Healed a citizen, a member of the "Dunell Hills Police Department". There are far too many factions claiming to be associated with the government. Used my last first aid kit to heal a citizen in Parkhouse Way Fire Station - Oddly familiar, for some reason.~

Barricaded Aloysius General Hospital slightly. Too tired to continue with it. Infrastructure is important.

Mistook Dalgliesh Cinema for a safe building, due to the lights - Fell. Was wounded lightly. Reported the building's status to the citizens in the Dawney Building, as its survival is in their best interests.

Still awaiting further instructions from High Command.

15 July, 2010

Was given medical aid by a citizen, for some reason.

Headed up north, then to the east. Briefly entered Molebank.

Not much else happened. Decided to sleep in Dobin Auto Repair. Not feeling well, fell asleep quickly.

Still awaiting further instructions from High Command.

16 July, 2010

Discovered that several citizen had made their way to Dobin Auto Repair. Decided to barricade it a bit more heavily. Went to check on Matcham Square Railway Station, as it seemed ruined.

Also went down south to check, among other things, St. Daniel's Hospital. Found a few pieces of medical supplies. Noticed a few ruined structures. Not much else this day.

Got back to Dobin Auto Repair. Fell asleep.

Still awaiting further instructions from High Command.

17 July, 2010

Very, very tired. Feeling sick.

Spent what little energy that was left searching for fuel, and arguing briefly with a.. confused citizen.

Still awaiting further instructions from High Command.

19 July, 2010

Not sure what happened yesterday. Must have blacked out, or something like that.

Was awaken by a zombie bite. Managed to get out, and used the last piece of medical supplies. Decided that the stay in Owsleybank had taken to long. Headed to the north-east, into central Malton.

Intercepted a radio messages broadcasted by the "Soldiers of Crossman". Decided to head over and check them out in Darvall Heights. Further study of local pseudo-military factions are needed.

The suburb seems more than decent. Intact infrastructure and fueled generators are a welcome sight after so long in a fringe area. Found three first aid kits (Refered to as "FAKs" by the locals) while searching St. Eutychian's Hospital.

Decided to stay in Wheelhouse Auto Repair for the night.

Still awaiting further instructions from High Command.
