Future of the Group

Alright, Bradley. I started putting this group together and then almost gave up on it when things came apart in Northeastern Dunningwood. However, you joining up has given me hope. Thank you for that, really.

What we have to do is come to a decision. Do we stick with the original plan of the LBPD, or do we come up with a new one? What do you think? --James Ennis 03:54, 24 July 2007 (BST)

I think the plan is very good, what with the solid core precincts and the loose foot patrol. It may take a while to fill up all these spots,,,and as they fill up they will be not very effective. also i have doubts about the local recruitment pool- the croc cult seems pretty wierd.-but maybe a bunch more like me will show up. im sorry i dont feel like i have much to offer being a lowly lvl 5. but anyway back to the point- i think it will work it will just take time, we should stay very focused, at least initaly- and communication is vital, both with eachother and trying to recruit. sorry im really bad at this wikipedia stuff im not really sure how it works. --Detective Bradley 04:19, 24 July 2007 (BST)

Not a problem with the communication. I'm working on getting a forum put up to handle that. And the wiki thing takes time. Don't worry 'bout it.

And don't worry about the level. We all do our part.

Although the Complex is a very far way away from the technical HQ of the group, I think it's a good place to recruit for the time being. Nearly everyone in Dunningwood and a good chunk of the people in Gibsonton passes through there regularly. And the crocs, while weird, would be a good first ally. Once we get the forum up and a few things straightened out, we can start aggressively recruiting. For now just try to keep the Complex in good shape; it's had a rough time lately. And if you have any friends who play UD, or who might be interested in playing, give them a yell and see if they want to join up. --James Ennis 04:54, 24 July 2007 (BST)

There's nothing wierd about the followers of our Toothy Lord, thank you :P --Cman yall 07:11, 24 July 2007 (BST)
Well, I suppose it makes as much sense as the dead walking. Oh look, zombies! Well whadda ya know! :D --James Ennis 14:16, 24 July 2007 (BST)
Sorry about the comment i made, i just was meaning that i didnt think they would want to join the LBPD, you guys have your own activities, although id be happy if you proved me wrong and worked with us. --Detective Bradley 04:19, 24 July 2007 (BST)

Operation: Firestarter

Surprise, this is the operation to get this whole group started up! Out of the game, this will involve me getting the forum up and finishing some more work on the page. In game, this will involve moving ourselves eastward to the Lord Boulevard Police Department and setting up shop there. If you need directions consult the Dunningwood page. Our primary objectives will be to -

1) Strengthen the current membership through training and learning new skills.
2) Secure LBPD HQ, the Police Department building.
3) Recruit local survivors to our cause.

ASAP, you are to make your way to the Department and rendezvous with me there. Now, there is a chance that the Department will be in enemy hands. If so, fall back to The Tracey Arms as a safehouse, and I will find you. If both buildings are overrun, find a new safehouse at your own discretion and contact me via this page. If you are KIA, contact me via this page and I will find and revive you.

It is advised that you keep one FAK on your person at all times for emergency situations. It is also recommended that you acquire a fire axe and prioritize the skills related to it; ammunition may become scarce. However, what skills to choose are ultimately up to you.

So, any questions or suggestions? Any input is appreciated greatly. And if not, than head out. I'll take your vanishing from Skarin Row as acknowledgment of the mission. Good luck.--James Ennis 17:43, 29 July 2007 (BST)

-- LBPD is in zombie hands. When i got there i was already getting low on ap after trying grabbing a few FAKs the surrounding area is overrun with many open doors. a survivor named "Augusta Monroe" was being attacked by 2 zombies in front of the building- i healed him as best i could ,curing an infection and bringing him back from 3hp. I then dispatched one of the zombies and ducked into the PD, finding 3 more zeds waiting within, so i jumped through an open window across into the Tracy Arms with my last ap. i did not get a chance to check the status of the building i wouldnt be surprised if a zombie was gnawing on me right now. requesting backup as soon as possible, or at least close the doors if you can. i will check back in half an hour. --Detective Bradley 15:47, 29 July 2007 (BST)

Still alive inside the Tracy Arms building, the doors are closed and i have loosely barricaded, out of ap. Out of FAKs, used them all on Augusta- maybe he will join our cause, if he is alive i will try to recruit him. i have lots of ammo. --Detective Bradley 16:47, 29 July 2007 (BST)

-- Checked in to find 2 zombies chewing on me, im only down to 40hp though. decided it might be a good idea to relocate to McDonell Towers, luckily the building is extremely heavily barricaded. i informed the survivor there about the group. took a look east with my binoculars: Hanrahan 4zeds, Tracy arms 1zed, Davers avenue 3zeds, Haggas square fire station 2zeds, LBPD 2zeds. plus however many within the buildings. --Detective Bradley 24:36, 30 July 2007 (BST)

Good work Bradley! I'm in the Towers myself at the moment, but didn't get to see if you were there because I ran out of AP. The Department building is in survivor hands, with the two zeds inside killed and removed. However, it's only lightly barricaded, so avoid it for the time being. Tracey Arms remains in zombie hands with three hostiles inside. Ammo has been depleted but still have several clips, and a few FAKs. --James Ennis 14:47, 30 July 2007 (BST)

-- i would like to welcome Yuri to the team, your assistance is greatly appreciated. I killed the lone Zed in Tracy Arms and dumped the body, repaired the building and barricaded loosely. I moved back to the tower with my last ap though. --Detective Bradley 16:10, 30 July 2007 (BST)

-- I have taken out the zed in the LBPD. I have caded it a bit but I'm a bit tired right now. I'm going to head back to McDonnell Towers (97,22) to rest. I'm looking forward to protecting Dunningwood. --Yuri Alexandrovich 24:30, 31 July 2007 (BST)

--Just put in a generator in the LBPD. I also filled it up with fuel. --Yuri Alexandrovich 13:05, 2 August 2007 (BST)

New Orders

Alright, this Operation is going great so far. Good work, the both of you. But now that we're here we need to finish taking the area and secure it. For that purpose I've organized us into the Guard Squad.

Myself and Bradley will focus on maintaining the LBPD's cades at EHB now that he has construction, and begin clearing other buildings. Our first target needs to be the Haggas Sq. Fire Station, as it's the entry point for the department. The cades have a higher priority, so judge accordingly how to spend AP.

Yuri, because you have the skills needed, you are the Squad's medic. I need you to save up AP and make a run to St. Odile's Hospital out west, grab as many FAKs as you can, and rush back here. Patch up everyone you can, even non-members. It'll help recruitment and make the zeds' job tougher. Any questions, adjustments, protests, suggestions? --James Ennis 17:07, 3 August 2007 (BST)

-- Sorry everyone, i rushed off to get FAKs before i read my orders. i will be back as soon as possible. --Detective Bradley 23:38, 3 August 2007 (BST)

--I'm getting FAK's now. I have some but I think I'll spend maybe another day or two in the hosptial so I can get a lot of FAK's.

EDIT: I just remembered that I shall not be on Urban Dead for a week because I'm going out of town. --Yuri Alexandrovich 17:34, 4 August 2007 (BST)

IMPORTANT IC is finally up, see the links on the page to go there, register, and begin posting. Oh, and everyone can choose their badge numbers for yourself. That's a personal choice open to you as soon as you join the force.--James Ennis 01:42, 5 August 2007 (BST)

we got killed pretty good. im wondering if anyone is up and able to give revives.. looking forward to retaking the LBPD.-- Detective Bradley

The Great Suburb Group Massacre

Stop hand.png Group Active? Request.
In order to maintain the wiki as an up to date source of information groups are occasionally removed from the Suburb pages when they are no longer active. Is this group still active? If so simply confirm here by writing something below. If not it will be removed from suburb pages in 14 days.

Currently the suburb in question is Dunningwood but one response to this query will be all that is needed to protect your group link on all suburb pages. I know this is a may seem a stupid request but it’s for all groups regardless of size. Thank you. --Adavastor 04:32, 31 July 2008 (BST)
