History

The Champneys Building once housed a branch of the "very Eighties" Champneys spa franchise. However, the jacuzzi has not worked properly for some time and the therapeutic qualities of the wave pool are undermined somewhat by the presence of numerous 'floaters', bobbing among the algal blooms. Optimistic visitors still sometimes search the building for the last remaining fluffy yellow towels.
