Sergeant Wayman - Level 41 who is trying to save Vinetown from scum. He has no need for XP anymore. He just wants to survive in danger zones, against all odds instead of trencoating or mindlessly killing zombies towards no formal cause. I try not to be taken down by my enemies but it happens when you take risks...
Sergeant F. Wayman was once a young man who joined the police straight after university at the age of 21. He then went to work in Willamette in the USA as part of an exchange between police forces. He was sent in with the initial squads in Willamette under the pretense that he was dealing with a riot. Eager to find out more, he broke rank and explored the Willamette Parkview Mall, where he found that they were not dealing with a riot, but zombies! He investigated the zombie outbreak there and fought to keep law and order in such a lawless land of the dead. After escaping the military cleanup to eradicate the evidence of the incident, he moved back to England. A few years on, and Malton hits the news with a zombie outbreak and a state of emegergency, no more coverups, this was war. By this time, he has been promoted to the rank of Sergeant and was operating in the new Incident Control Team (ICT) which specialise in keeping law and order and providing a rescue service in a disaster zone. The ICT were part of the external military effort but during an aid mission in Malton, the helicopter was attacked by an extremely nimble zombie. Now law and order has gone down the drain, along with most of the ICT going MIA, he created the Outbreak Control Unit (OCU) with his friends from similar backgrounds. The platoon were battle-hardened and did what it takes to wipe out the zombies and save as many lives as possible. However, around Christmas time, something happened. The OCU went on to battle at Fort Perryn, but the travel there cost the life of a dedicated soldier and there was an excessive amount of skirmishes at the fort itself. Eventually, the OCU and survivors prevailed but there was a heavy cost. Many survivors fell to the zombie hordes and many soldiers and the officers of the OCU fell in combat or became MIA. The OCU is now considered an inactive group after the bloodshed at Whittenside.
On the 10th of July 2008, Sergeant Wayman was spotted back in Vinetown, albeit severely wounded along with Feedersoul or 'Sneds' as he was known by friends. He is now working to find other survivors from the battle of Whittenside and Fort Perryn as well as getting his wounds tended to.
