Notable Suburb Groups

Groups are considered notable for a suburb if they have been added to <something something> and are a part of <something something somethingelse>. A suburb-notable group is one that has been able to shape the game experience in a suburb to any real degree, and/or one that has predominately contributed to the history of that suburb. This can range from operating exclusively in a suburb for <some time period here>, to <some criteria here> .

Some examples of notable suburb groups are <example one here- maybe a long service record in a some really active suburb> and <this group, which is in a small suburb, but has been really notable in that suburb's history> - give both sides of the extreme.

Unlike Historical Group voting, in which only those groups which have greatly changed the history of Malton or the way the game has been played are recognized, <some phrase here that shows the more lax voting nature of this>.

Adding to Category

To attain Notable Suburb Group status

  1. Groups must no longer actively contribute to the game.
  2. A nomination should be made on the Category Talk for the Suburb.
  3. Within two weeks of a nomination, the group must be approved by <some criteria - I think 2/3 is high but that is me> of the voters. The only allowable votes are Yes and No.
  4. Groups that pass will be added to the category as described below.
  5. Groups must allow a week to pass between nominations.
