Here is a useful map alternate mapdanger level map

For beginners: you should pick the scout because every building worth being in is barricaded. With the scout you can free run into buildings that are too heavily barricaded to get into otherwise. Always keep 10 action points (AP's) in reserve. Remember you can only click into the site 160 times per day. you only have 50 AP's possible and you gain 1 every 30 minutes. Do not sleep out doors. Police Stations and Firehouses, and Hospitals are dangerous. However, they also have the best goodies to search for (guess why they are dangerous). Search the firehouse until you find an ax. Then you have a chance.

Day one for new players. Every time you click on anything you lose a point. You only have 50 points which is not enough to survive. before you do anything look at the map and plan on moving towards a rendezvous point. when you have 10 AP's left you must get inside a building preferably with other survivors. Attacking zombies is a bad idea on day one. Focusing on searching for items and getting to a safe group is priority one. cool addons

Item list

Spray Can

Locations: Mall Hardware stores; Schools; Junkyards; Auto Repair shops (L 7.1%); Storehouses; Vehicle Depots
   Encumbrance: 2%

Typically 1-3 uses only. Spray cans allow you to leave messages in your current location for all other characters (human and zombie) to read. They generally read Somebody has sprayed...onto a wall but there are other posibilities, depending on the building (for example Movie Theatres).

With the Tagging skill, you can earn 2 XP for vandalizing (i.e., tagging from outside) Armories, Monuments and Police Departments, and 1 XP for Banks, Mansions, Power Stations and Schools. The cans will also last longer, sometimes up to 15 sprays or even more.

Attempting to write profanity causes the spray can to hiss and run out before writing anything. Attempting to respray the same message that is already sprayed on a surface will give no XP, while using one AP. If you spray new graffiti in a location you just sprayed, your message says You improve your work instead of You spray <text> here.

Spraying with the text field blank does nothing. However, spraying a space (' ') causes you to 'spray a blank rectangle' and erase the current tag from the wall. The Somebody has spraypainted ... onto a wall message is removed until the location is tagged again.

When spraying graffiti, don't click on the can in your inventory: it won't work, and you will waste an AP. In the actions above that, however, there will be a text box with a button containing the word Graffiti; use that text box to write your spray, then push the button to spray it.

Messages can be no longer than 50 characters, including spaces.

Wire cutters

Useless. There are no wires left to be cut.

BEER WINE

heals 1 hp costs 1 ap to use.

BOOK

10% chance of gaining 1 xp. 1 ap to read.

PLAYER LOCALS

Current base of operations

We are all rendezvousing at the Chippet's Grove Police Department in Spracklingbank. The Hospital is 6 blocks away and the NT building is one click south. The PD will be maintained at vsb whenever possible. Survivors with free running are encouraged to sleep in the Arms locked south west of the PD where the barricades are EHB.

We are preparing for massive hordes to move north over the next two weeks. Find a nitch and get prepared with ammo reserves and extra FAK's.

When we have sufficient numbers and high level players discussions will begin about securing a new and more powerful base of operations.

Entry Points

These are places you can get into without free running

the Veasey Building Gibsonton [82, 21]

St Alcuin's Hospital Gibsonton [84, 25]

Free Running is an increasingly important skill as human players are using heavy barricades to defend themselves. A free runner can enter heavily-barricaded strongholds, and move quickly to useful buildings without wasting an AP on entering them. Free running is also an effective skill for lower level scientists with the ability to revive zombies, as NTs are frequently barricaded to Extremely Heavily. Note: Free Runners cannot free run into ruined buildings. They can, however, run out of them.

Note that this means that to get from a building to the outside of an adjacent building, survivors with Free Running need to spend 2 APs rather than 1 AP.
