I'm not sure where to put this, because the Countryside article is a bit underused right now, but I took the plunge... Hopped northwest from Galpin Gardens and just kept going... There's a North-South road running through countryside, 10 blocks west of the border between Countryside and west West Borehamwood. Kept on going and after six more blocks I was in the suburg of Radlett. I created its Wiki article just now, based on this one. Balfa 05:44, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

I confirm those findings, I reached Radlett suburb, and what I think is the West edge of the map!
Radlett SE corner is 17W, 7N from West Borehamwood's NE Corner, and possible map edge is 20W from West Borehamwood limit.

For those of you creating the maps, do not forget to check the discussion section for this page. There are suburb screenshots there to add to the map. Brother Elijah 19:16, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

West Borehamwood suburb is confirmed to be 24 or more in width, and possibly 33 in heigth. Notable features include a north-south railroad line, which continues into NW and SW borehamwood suburbs, and a large amount of fields to the west. None of the scouting patrols sent beyond those fields have returned so far.

I can now confirm West Borehamwood has the same dimensions as Central: it's 22 (east-west) by 33 (north-south), just as suggested above. -- Maunder 21:45, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

Scouting mission report:

West Bore.png

Scribbled some coordinates in red based for latitude on Central Borehamwood known locations, and for longitude from East edge, assuming 22 width, which turned out to be wrong. Red lines are borders with SW and Central Borehamwood (assuming straight lines)

Seeing the above has prompted me to document my own exploration in a similar fashion. It is possible that I was the Zombie sitting on the Petrol Station in your image, as I was there for a while (and attacked by two people, healed by one).
My image:

And a mix of my image with Zolt's, above (based on locations we both visited):

I noted where I crossed over into Countryside to the West, and Southwest Borehamwood to the South (in both images).

Also, this confirms that West Borehamwood is 24 in width if it is indeed rectangular (and it likely is).
Sorry it sucks and is ugly, but here's my image. I don't think there's any intersection with your images. At least I found some borders.

Where did the Elstree connection come from in the surrounding suburbs grid at the top? We've all found nothing but Countryside west of here. Balfa 14:45, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
Awesome work Balfa! I combined Diwen's map with yours, and another scan along the east side that links the two. Burb dimensions are confirmed: 24x33! Now to get all that onto the real map!--Zolt 18:41, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

Haha, sorry again that mine's all out of proportion and the wrong scale. Good work getting it joined up though. We should start a Cartographers Guild :) I think mine's like that because I use Opera, and the website doesn't wrap the building names for Opera, but does for IE, so mine's all stretched sideways. Balfa 19:24, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
There's still something strange when I count the cells. Been checking and re-checking it for 1 hour. When I measure the width around the north route, using your map and mine, I get 23 blocks only, and the railway is at 15. When I measure on the south road, I get 24 blocks and the railway at 16. I don't think it's just the width. Either one of us misplaced the west edge in the fields or Kevan played a joke on us and it's not straight! Need... more... data...
--Zolt 19:38, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
Oops, you're right. I moved four fields away from the hotel, so I could SEE five fields away from it. There's an extra set of fields. I got lazy pasting fields so I just reused the same thing. I knew I'd mess that up. Just put an extra staircase level of fields southwest of what I did, and move my Countryside border one more notch west. *Sheepish* Balfa 19:46, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
I.e.: If you move four blocks NE of your FieldZombie, you'll get to Galpin Gardens. Balfa 19:54, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

The mapping of this suburb has begun! Coordinates are currently unclear so the currently mapped area may be inaccurate with regards to position within the suburb. --Bigmaddrongo 13:21, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

Here's another piece of the West Borehamwood Puzzle: West borehamwood map 2--Steampenguin 19:52, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

peeple, make iwittness shots and i'll do the wiki magic. this feels like monroeville mapping madness take 2 :P --~~~~ [talk] 22:34, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

--Look at Central Borehamwood's new map template 22x22, and feel free to use it. Our suburb is confirmed to be 22 blocks wide, although the height is still undetermined. Hopefully all suburbs are of similar dimensions.--

Suburb Map

Replaced the 10x10 map by a 24x33 template that I did - not sure if it's 100% correct. Marked the first few locations, the rest is up to you, I need some food and sleep. The last row is a bit fked up, anyone feel free to edit the template.

--Zolt 13:20, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

I would recommend against anyone putting a lot of effort into creating the templates and entering data into them until we actually know the dimensions for sure. After seeing the data posted here, I think West Borehamwood is 24 x 36. If someone else confirms this, then by all means, start your templates! Of course, if other suburbs don't have consistent dimensions, the templates aren't as useful... -- Maunder 15:16, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

Nah, it's 24x33 and anyway, templates are eeezy. People, we got ourselves a map!
--Zolt 18:48, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

Thanks, Zolt! I've updated the south central section, and will try to get the linkup to the top section done now. I can't seem to find out where I'm doubling up row 22, though... --Lewarcher 02:08, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

Whoops, my template was indeed fked up on row 22, I had put that block twice in the copy-paste frenzy. :It's fixed now and I'm adding the west areas. Thx for finding this and updating the map Lew --Zolt 5:08, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

There is now a path paved through West Borehamwood from north to south, mapped out by my character (with a few teethmarks along the way); this should help. --Lewarcher 02:48, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
