Description

This tower reaches upwards forty stories into the heavens. Any floor higher than four is wrecked however, and due to its instability the staircases that lead upward have been either barricaded beyond all belief or destroyed. The elevators in this building are all wrecked and unusable.

History

This used to be a very strong center of economic activity in the city, despite it being far from the center of Malton. It was home to many businesses that were located within the city. However, just the day before the outbreak, a large-scale attack was carried out in which people attempted to bring it down. All of the elevators were hit with bombs and explosions went off at key areas in the structure. Fortunately, the towers were only heavily damaged and not destroyed. Plans for repairing the towers were just underway when the zombies came. There was hardly anybody inside or even near the towers due to its instability, and so they quickly ransacked and abandoned the place. Days later survivors came along and fixed it up somewhat. They were the ones to originally block off the higher staircases to ensure the safety of fellow humans who might come along after them.

Although pure speculation, some believe that there is some significance that the towers were attacked just the day before the outbreak, forcing everyone to evacuate the building and ensuring that nobody would be safe within its walls the next day. However, others choose to believe it is a simple coincidence that the two events occurred so close together in time. CaviosDaryll 9:46, 22 November 2008 (EST)
