==Description==
The surrounding area is a collection of rows of terraced houses. The alleys at the back of these are sorry affairs. They are foreboding places with old rubbish bags dumped in them. Dinovan Alley is an uplifting exception to this. It is a long alley with its walls painted in bright colours. It is also adorned with potted plants and hanging baskets. It has lights running across it which once lit up at night. For some reason there are coins stuck to the ground at one part of the alley. Once, when money was still used in Malton, people would try and pick these up to no avail. An oasis in the surrounding desert.

Description

The surrounding area is a collection of rows of terraced houses. The alleys at the back of these are sorry affairs. They are foreboding places with old rubbish bags dumped in them. Dinovan Alley is an uplifting exception to this. It is a long alley with its walls painted in bright colours. It is also adorned with potted plants and hanging baskets. It has lights running across it which once lit up at night. For some reason there are coins stuck to the ground at one part of the alley. Once, when money was still used in Malton, people would try and pick these up to no avail. An oasis in the surrounding desert.
