- Ahhhh, Nuabreed. Was wondering how long before you noticed our flower on your doorstep. One of our reasons for being is to hunt down strange and unusual cults. Would you not classify yourselves as a strange and unusual cult? Some worship a crocodile...or in your case, an octopus. Either way, we suspended the campaign against the 'popes. - Nice to hear that. I note that your mission statement has changed since my last visit. I would have taken offense to being attacked under the "Strange and Unusual cults who indulge their bizarre appetites, much to the detriment of their suburb." ruling since we actually spend all our time defending besieged Necrotechs. We would sympathise with your goals, to a certain extent, since we also know the pain of trying to get certain types of survivors to contribute anything to the defence of their suburb. But if "Strange and Unusual" is the new justification, then fire away. Although I feel obliged to warn that if you're looking for a entertaining fight, you won't get it. We've long since stopped hunting down PKers as it distracts from more important things. We work on the principle it's better to use 10 AP to revive the victim than waste more hunting down the culprit. So basically less a war and more you shooting a large chunk of the active defenders of a suburb as they try to hold back the zeds and protect your supply of needles, FAKs and ammo. Which might make you the strange and unusual cult who indulge their bizarre appetites, much to the detriment of the suburb.--Nuabreed 16:51, 17 September 2007 (BST)
- Very sharp of you to notice we changed the criteria on the fly! :) Unlike the cult of the stuffed crocodile, you seem to be on the ball. One of our agents went down to New Arkham a couple of weeks ago to observe and recomended we hold off the attack as you didn't quite fit the bill. So we had to change the rules. As for an entertaining battle, well, sometimes we get one, sometimes we don't. Doesn't really matter. Either way, I've put a motion up for vote in our forum that we remove you from the list of future campaigns. We are a democracy...we'll see if the Octopope and his many tentacles can touch the hearts of the other members.--Hibernaculum 17:59, 17 September 2007 (BST)
