CORAM TALK ALLIES ADD ONS OTHER STUFF ADVERTISE LOGS

The Malton Manhunt

Hey guys. Care to advertise the next event of the Malton Manhunt? The Rosslessness Duck Hunt. Thanks. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 17:59, 7 December 2010 (UTC)

I'll do it. I plan on participating as well. Just waiting on Ross for the go to sign up. ~Vsig.png 21:17, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
Done. I've asked someone else to grab a transcript in case you miss it (and in case you're into that sort of thing). ~Vsig.png 22:18, 7 December 2010 (UTC)

...

I laughed. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 03:06, 11 December 2010 (UTC)

Let's talk turkey

What's CORAM's position on broadcasting group ads? --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 19:59, 16 December 2010 (UTC)

We've never stopped anyone from transmitting whatever they want on the frequency. If you have a handheld tuned to 25.92 then you you probably already knew that :P So if you want to send someone with Radio Operation to Coram to advertise, then by all means. We could actually use more hands on deck. Now if you're asking for others to advertise, well then things get a little more tricky. How would said groups let us know they wanted to advertise on the EBS? And who would control the content of said ads? If you give me total artistic license to come up with an ad, you might end up regretting it (or laughing all the way to the bank).
tl;dr - tell us what you actually want and we'll let you know. ~Vsig.png 20:16, 16 December 2010 (UTC)
Something to promote Organization XIII. Stick to the script. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 20:25, 16 December 2010 (UTC)
Hmm let me see what I can do to make it somewhat of an official thing in that case. Probably something akin to your own sig advertisement system. At the very least it'll cost you cookies. ~Vsig.png 20:38, 16 December 2010 (UTC)
Oh don't worry. The amounts of cookies I've been getting paid in with my signature ads made me open up a cookie bank account. The interest rate is actually pretty good. ;) --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 20:44, 16 December 2010 (UTC)
Alright, I've made a page that can be used to request advertisment with CORAM. Under Construction because I lazily put it together. Expect updates. ~Vsig.png 21:53, 16 December 2010 (UTC)

New Years Bash

Alright, I got my kilt and santa hat so I was heading back to Coram for the bash. When I arrived I found it ransacked and with 15 zombies in it. Needless to say I don't think my plan worked as well as it could have (Mostly due to unaffiliated survivors keeping the zergs from idling out, but thats beside the point). So are we having everyone get drunk/high at Mester?

Also I think we may need to start a discussion about how to deal with the rising zerg/feral horde. Its gotten annoying --Chlornaphazine 05:41, 29 December 2010 (UTC)

I've been up in Eastonwood for the last week. Good folks. Had a blast. Ready to head back. It may not have been long enough for the zerger to idle all his accounts yet. Problem is that even if we do get him to idle them, at the very first sign that he's losing his foothold on the building, he'll log them all back in and swarm in again.
As far as combating it, there are a few things we have working for us.
  • IP hit limit: he can probably can't move all his accounts into the building in one day if he uses his IP limit up. Force him to use more of those and we'll keep him logged out for long stretches at a time. Conserve AP for cades so he has to use IP hits attacking cades.
  • Lowered chances to hit: since he's cheating, he has been hit by a reduced chance to hit probability. This means more AP and IP hits to achieve his goal. Same as above. Keep him attacking cades to whittle at his AP/IP reserves.
  • Zerg character levels: Most are low level without Ankle Grab. If he breask in, Headshot him rather than revive them. He has to spend more AP this way.
  • People hate zergs: since it's obvious we have a problem now, we can probably enlist the help of some zerg hunters to help "deter" him from pulling his bullshit.
As for Ferals, they usually move out whenever there isn't an easy meal. So if the burb is as wrecked as I hear, then they've likely already moved on. Also, kill more of the zerg outside the building so it doesn't look as tempting to ferals. If they don't see 15+ "other zombies" standing out there, they won't be as likely to stop and attack cades. Unfortunately, the zerger has been painting us as a target, though that's probably unintentional on his part.
That's my take on the whole situation. I'm as ready as the rest to finally be rid of them.

Prob best to tell ZergHunters or Zerge List people or something. --    : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : 12:52, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
You could advertise it as "Dunking for zergers"! :D --Shatari 20:16, 30 December 2010 (UTC)

Alliance

Hello all, i am the commander of the former group TACS, a once controlling survivor group of the Lukinswood area. We unfortunately fell to dis-array awhile back however will be rebuilding our forces within Lukinswood to try and become a major contributor of the suburb once again. I do apologize for writing this here, however was not sure where else to place it. We would like to have an alliance with your group to help try and further assist the Lukinswood suburb and hopefully the Malton city as a whole. Please visit our wiki page Tactical Assault Containment Service and post on our forums, we will be completely over hauling our wiki and forums so please be patient. Thank you and we look forward to a response...—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Reaper37 (talkcontribs) at an unknown time.

As head wiki lurker of CORAM, I hereby accept your request for alliance on behalf of the group. It's good to hear TACS is returning. I remember you guys when I first came to Lukinswood. It will do the burb good to have another group around. Let us know if you need anything, particularly if you need help revamping TACS' wiki page. ~Vsig.png 04:30, 2 January 2011 (UTC

I am glad to hear. I do appreciate your offer with the help and will definitely keep you informed regarding any that is needed. Over the next couple days, i am going to try and get everything up and running and will definitely keep you informed with our progress. I look forward to the coming days of zombie head bashing.... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Reaper37 (talkcontribs) 04:43, January 3, 2011.

Why are all of our alliances so anti-zombie? Can't we just get along? While we do only allow the living to broadcast (a leftover of outdated biases, I'm sure), I feel that CORAM should move past this pulsism and incorporate a more neutral, open-minded stance. Or at the very least, ask Zolam to stop shooting me. :( --Shatari 09:06, 3 January 2011 (UTC)

We've tried to be zed-friendly but they don't seem to respond in kind. And as for Shatari's dualism, well Zolam's an Ackland lover and takes no prisoners... PS: Sattano left his DSS PIN across the other side of the planet and so is phoneless for a few months (if anyone cares) --    : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : 18:50, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
Where are you that took you half way across the planet, LC? BTW isn't there some way you can recover your DSS PIN? ~Vsig.png 19:10, 5 January 2011 (UTC)

I split my time between London, Amsterdam, Bangkok (all the clean-living parts of the planet!). DSS PIN is on old Vaio in London. Just bought new Vaio in BKK but forgot I'd need PIN. Don't miss the DSS phone, and could just get a new number. Don't think there's any way I can recover PIN from afar. Of my 6 alts only 2 used DSS anyway. --    : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : 19:14, 5 January 2011 (UTC)

Niiiice. Hey, are the fatties gonna join Barhah Bowl? Or Rakewell maybe? Team 1 neeeeeds you. ~Vsig.png 19:26, 5 January 2011 (UTC)

Wow, just read that zombieball page, so confused... Not sure about real-time play, especially while over here. When's the next manhunt? --    : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : 20:08, 5 January 2011 (UTC)

There is a manhunt ongoing right now but sign-ups are over. The next one I think is Axe Hack's Manhunt 4, but no date announced yet. The real-time aspect of Zombieball mostly applies to the defilers and safties. We still need o-line and defenders, which can play pretty much whenever is convenient for them. ~Vsig.png 20:14, 5 January 2011 (UTC)

~EVIL~

There are only two of us atm, but we're coming to help. Lemons aren't fans of zergs and are gonna try and restore the EBS to its rightful glory. -- LEMON #1 06:44, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
