I'd deleted this because it replicated the content of XP, was quite out-of-date, and didn't offer much content, but put it back when I realised it was part of Drakkenmaw's Forum Guides.

Have no idea how important it is to archive this on the Wiki. Is he intending to keep these up to date here instead of there, now? It's just another page for someone to edit whenever a new XP-gain action is added, otherwise. --Spiro 18:07, 8 Sep 2005 (BST)

I'd say it would make sense to merge the two. Duplicate data just leads to nightmares. --Krenn 18:10, 8 Sep 2005 (BST)

I'd say delete, redirect, or merge. --LibrarianBrent 23:35, 8 Sep 2005 (BST)

I vote we use XP as a list of all sources of XP, and turn this into a detailed discussion of which ones are the most efficient. Morlock 17:02, 9 Sep 2005 (BST)

There's one more source of XP's

When you kill someone, be it survivor or zombie, you also get a certain amount of XP. This is in ADDITION to the amount you get landing hits.

For example, my zed was scratching away at a survivor. Got him down to 4, then 2, then he's dead. Got 3XP out of the hits, then another 11XP for the actual kill. Any one got the actual formula for THAT XP bonus?

It's a 10 XP bonus. You got 4 XP for the 4 HP damage you did, and 10XP kill bonus. It's all there in XP. (What I don't know is whether you get the full 10 XP or just 5 XP for PKing.) Morlock 17:02, 9 Sep 2005 (BST)

Wow, sick

Zombie harvesting! As the zombies get tougher that's no longer looking so sensible!

Locked in a building

According to Barricades, it's impossible for humans or zombies to get locked in any building at any time. The last paragraph in this article isn't too clear on this (and read in a certain way, disputes it).

While the 'Leave Building' button becomes inactive, clicking a nighbouring square will cause you to exit. Perhaps this is the meaning that the paragraph was attempting to demonstrate; in that newbies may not work out that this is the way to leave the building.

I suggest some kind of clarification. ;P ExplodingFerret 00:17, 25 September 2006 (BST)

Better way to XP gain

You left out the easy-ist way go get XP from first aid kits. 1) Enter a hospital (or anywhere with First aid kits) that looks like it has survivors in there. 2) Search for a first aid kit. 3) Punch (or atack in any way) a survivor. 4) Heal. 5)Repeat. If you use something like a bat, You gain 5 Xp per cycle, and your in the safety of a building the whole time! Please put this in the guide (maybe with some credit to me).
