: As much as it is a shame in that it is a cleaver concept and it would be interesting to have SpiderZed aboard in one form or another, I do not believe this is intended to be in earnest. This group seems to be a satiric creation highlighting the pointlessness of random ZKing and boasts ties to the Heathers by way of two of their front organizations: Team Icecream (who do not hand out FAKs as their XP values do not change) and Dr. Albert Schwan (the clone they made of me). Unless I miss my recollection, the account listed as leadership is a death cultist formerly with the FU (I may be mistaken in this regard). Final decision obviously rests with Skynet leadership but I advise against admission or cooperation without further investigation as this group appears to be linked to enemies of almost all Skynet affiliates.

Possible Application

I am willing to terminate zombies and potential human threats. --

SDN 15:42, 14 September 2010 (BST)

I'm grinning ear to ear. Are you willing to travel? Does the rest of your group have an interest in working with Skynet? I've added contact information for real-time discussion to the main page under description and at the end. Talk to you soon. Skynet Defense Network 16:49, 14 September 2010 (BST)
Yes. I will do whatever it takes to ensure the survival of the human race. I will contact various other Terminators and transfer the link to this page and the chat application. We will meet again. -- SDN 22:12, 14 September 2010 (BST)

I like the RP aspect of your group/project and the idea that it could help germinate surivor cooperation. I'm interested to see where it goes. Have you thought about possibly using The Emergency Broadcast System as part of SkyNet? I don't speak wholly for CORAM, but I'm sure our group would stand behind any idea that brings about the use of EBS for...actual Emergency Broadcasts. Hit us up on the CORAM talk page if interested. ~Vsig.png 18:16, 14 September 2010 (BST)

Application ==

I am interested in my group, the Anti-Zombie Squad, joining the SDN Alliance. About which areas of Malton will you be active? --Penguinpyro 08:48, 15 September 2010 (BST)

Our operations will be limited to areas within the quarantine zone ;) All of Malton. Our first operation will be to assist a current ally, the location is undisclosed for now. Where does the AZS operate? Skynet Defense Network 19:09, 15 September 2010 (BST)
The AZS operates mainly in the SE quadrant of Malton, although we will enter central Malton if there's an event. So... do we just wait until Sept. 21st and then sign up? --Penguinpyro 22:56, 15 September 2010 (BST)
Nope. You're an ally, effective immediately. The launch date is just to give us time to iron everything out. Like getting our allies listed here xD The Fortress is hosting a party soon. Think you guys will be up for a gathering at a yet-undisclosed location on the 20th?
We're committed to a suburb every month (location classified). If it happens to be nearby the current point, we'll gladly join in. If not, we will consider scrapping our plans and joining in soon after it starts. --Penguinpyro 10:45, 16 September 2010 (BST)

Like to help out South Blythville?

Able Squad of the Cannonball Crew is currently dispatched to aid in the South Blythville Recovery Effort. How's it going down there? Leon Silverblood 02:53, 19 September 2010 (BST)

So Far, everything is awesome! Maybe add {{SBR|Skynet Defence Network}} to your main page...yeah? Red Eyes-Dezonus-Red Eyes (talk) 13:44, 22 September 2010 (BST)
Ok. What's that do? Leon Silverblood 18:43, 23 September 2010 (BST)

Complaint acquired

Why, again, are sentient murder machines not killing survivors? Strength is just an accident arising from the weakness of others 23:20, 30 September 2010 (BST)

Some of them are but my understanding is only those who challenge the ordered uniformity of the overmind. To a robot, the difference between an animated corpse and a living body is about 21 grams and some electrical activity. Besides, who is more likely to challenge a centrally run defense network designed to establish order: survivors who see it as a source of protection in a troubled time or zombies who see it as a threat to the currently favorable status quo? I would call it threat assessment. But I can only postulate; though my name appears on it, this is not my baby.

If I was a robot, I'd go for the smarter foes first. Machines can outlast something destined to rot. Strength is just an accident arising from the weakness of others 00:12, 1 October 2010 (BST)
So you say that zombies are stupid? --Penguinpyro 02:38, 1 October 2010 (BST)
Yes. Now piss off and learn your ABC's. -- LEMON #1 02:53, 1 October 2010 (BST)
Case in point. Genuinely, though, zombies are animals incapable of higher thought than "food is here", or "food is there, let's go there". Long-term guerilla campaigns against a robot army aren't exactly their forte. Plus, no matter how many robots they smash, they're not going to get eating those tasty brains (Robocop 2 not withstanding). I've been considering making a rogue Terminator alt dedicated to terminating survivors as its main mission. So you never know, only time will tell. -- SDN 15:29, 2 October 2010 (BST)
I did not plan to revisit this thread but this might be philosophically interesting. You mention things like challenge. Again, I think you misunderstand. A robot overmind would seek efficiency, pure and simple. This one is designed to protect as the other Skynet model was. The other saw domination as the best way to protect as it saw humanity’s greatest threat to be humanity itself. When Humans tried to destroy it, it encountered a paradox: Skynet=the best way to protect humanity, Humanity will destroy Skynet, No skynet=humanity destroys itself=mission failed. At this point a secondary objective was created mandating self preservation. Humans=no skynet: hence the contradiction. Skynet was built to handle contradiction so it rationalized. When humanity is removed from both sides of the equation, the secondary mandate was all that remained. It seems only logical that it resolved to destroy us to protect us when that rationale allowed it to remain behind after we were gone to protect whatever remained that did not constitute a threat. In this situation, some of these failings have been accounted for but the situation is vastly different. Anyone who believes that humans are their own greatest threat has not taken a look around Malton recently. In summary, Skynet may someday kill us all…but not until zombies no longer pose a greater threat. We are not likely to see this in our time. As it stands, this Skynet works with survivors, using them as resources to serve their own best interests. It coordinates as a means to help us govern ourselves. If we prove we can do this, there is no reason for the secondary objective to be created. In an ideal world, Skynet will dismantle itself when it is no longer needed. But again, this is purely speculation on my part as Skynet itself has so far declined to comment.
