Guidelines

Please note these guidelines may be altered slightly during the next GSGM.

1. Each group category is its own list, and each list of groups should be sorted in alphabetical order.
2. When an article of speech (e.g. "a", "an", or "the") is at the start of its group name, ignore the article of speech for purposes of alphabetization. E.g. "The Burchell Arms Regulars" would come before "Malton Police Department" since "B" comes before "M".
3. Always include a group icon. If the group currently does not have a group icon please use the [[Image:NoGroupIcon.jpg|25px]] icon instead. It looks like this:
4. The group icon should always be scaled to 25x25, if possible. In the case that an image is larger include the |25px]] to scale it down to a reasonable size. But keep in mind that the full-sized image still needs to load, so if this method is overused it will slowdown the suburb wikipage's load time. So please use a scaled-down group icon in the long term.
5. If the group name is too long (i.e. wraps below the group icon) consider using an acronym (i.e. "Department of Emergency Management" = "D.E.M.")
6. If your group is a member group of a larger organization (i.e. DEM) be sure to add it below that organization header even if it is the only group from that organization in the suburb.
7. Place <big></big> tags around group organization names (i.e. DEM), as well as bolding the text so that it stands out. These "big" tags will counter the small tags already used by the template and allow the organization header to use the standard browser font size. Unlike groups an organization does not require a group icon before its name.
