"To defend to the end."
Truer words were never spoken. Ever since the Burchell Arms Regulars were first formed in the defense of their beloved pub they have continued the long legacy by defending it from all who would dare to spill blood on its floors, from zombies to murderers. While there have been dark days when the Burchell Arms has been overrun the BAR has always recovered and rebuilt. Rather than dwell on past defeats the BAR toasts all who have challenged and bested them, for they know that they have only returned stronger than ever before. To this day no force has ever broken their spirit and all who defend Rolt Heights know that whenever trouble comes knocking, the BAR will always be there to answer.

The Knight Arms (Santlerville Defenders)

"Corripe Cervisiam"
Or "Seize the Beer", this Latin phrase best describes what motivates the BAR members who are stationed at the Knight Arms in Santlerville. The Knight Arms was opened in March 2007 as part of a initiative by the BAR to expand its influence and protection into another suburb, and thus possibly improve the lives of their follow survivors. The Dribbling Beavers welcomed their brothers-in-arms from the east and the Knight Arms was selected at the best location from which to defend Santlerville. Of course BAR members are not permanently stationed here, every now and then some return to the Burchell Arms so they can meet again with old friends at their true home.

In 2010 it was decided that, with BAR membership lower than ever before and envoy contact with the Dribbling Beavers almost non-existent, it no longer made tactical sense to maintain a pub in Santlerville. With this decision made the Knight Arms team, who by now only one officially listed active member, was dissolved and ownership of the Knight Arms was returned to the people of Santlerville. A day may come that the BAR will return to Santlerville, but for now this chapter in BAR history has been closed.

The Revive Corps

Bringing Life to the Lifeless
Originally formed and headed by veteran BAR member McDeade, leadership of the team was eventually passed onto BAR Manager Tommy1504, aka "Blazin' Guns Tommy", in November 2008. When Tommy moved on to greater glory the team's leadership was passed in March 2010 to Jesus Sante. The members of the Revive Corps are a group of Regulars who can be called upon to help clear any revive point queues of waiting undead survivors. There primary goal is to eliminate clogs, namely zombies with Brain Rot, and revive as many survivors per day as possible. This team was established after the Big Bash came through Rolt Heights, and as such they have not been called upon yet to show their skills.

The following list of BAR members have joined and currently compose the ranks of the Revive Corps, to be called on at a moment's notice. Those stationed in the Revive Corps may request transfers to other teams at any time and while recruitment into this team is voluntary, should it grow too large the BAR management reserves the right to remove less-active members from its ranks since the team's goals require fast response times.

As of March 2010, the Revive Corps has reformed under the leadership of Jesus Sante. If you have been revived by a member of the Corps, please swing into the Burch and buy them a drink! For your convenience, we've listed their regular drink below (but most will drink whatever is offered).

The Burchell Newscast Team (TBNT)

"USQUEQUAQUE PROMPTUS"
In other words, Always Ready. In previous years the BAR had used the Radio, but under no official branch was it operated. In the opening months of Fall 2010, The Burchell News Team was wrought forth under the steely eyes and hands of a cited Literature Critic, Mead Sheaffer. Following the footsteps of glory in the heathens of knowledge, the noble Radiomen stepped forward and marched on in the pursuit of knowledge and enlightenment. The Dashing lovers of fine Wines, Beers and other assorted drinks now band together under the banner of the glorious BAR.

The Radiomen decided to become much more than just radio operators, however. Sparked by the idea of a multi-media hub for the BAR - while extending the Grace of Knowledge to all others who sought it - they molded together everything they could together, created two things that Malton hadn't: An Online Webcast, therefore being capable of giving every one of the million Maltonians with Internet Capabilities live news updates; and secondly audio recordings of Survivor Efficiency Lectures. The Radiomen have more to bring, bound only by the time they study the lost arts and times Malton...

Relief Efforts & Migrating Revive Point
Santlerville is once again fit for human habitation. Various safehouses are available and resource buildings are powered from recent reports. Our local satellite pub there is providing cool cold beer, shelter, and revives for the locals. If you need a revive there head toward the Finch Monument.

We of the Burchell Arms Regulars were shocked to find that there are many bars, pubs, and clubs in Malton that are not in operation and do not serve cold beer. Other than ammunition and FAKs, we know of nothing more essential than beer in the fight against the walking dead. The BAR may be coming to your suburb soon in order to help in survivor efforts and lift a pint while we're at it!

Towards solving this problem, we have created the "Traveling Drunk Tank" - a group of dedicated BAR members who will rove Malton, from pub to pub, bringing power and booze to the people who need it the most!
NOTE: The TDT has become not only a bringer of joy and beer, but the BAR's personal strike team, capable of dealing with threats before they even come close to the Burch. The TDT will be running under a rotating leadership, meant to provide members with experience and a taste of leadership. The Chief Drunkard is now father o keefe.
