The Daubeney Building is a NecroTech facility located in the suburb of East Becktown. Though a faceless corporate structure to the uninitiated, this facility acts as the heart of all cranial implant research and production for NecroTech within the suburb. Staff at this building commonly revive zombies at nearby revive points. This facility is one of four NecroTech facilities found in the suburb. Members of project NecroWatch renovated the facility in recent months, as they installed sensor eyes for A.L.I.C.E. throughout the building and uploaded NecroNet 2.0 into the facility's system terminals.
NecroTech staff continue to follow directive 42-A, issued by the head office on January 19th 2006, with the activation and manufacture of MK-II revivification syringes. While the cost in time and effort are currently high the certainty provided by being able to manufacture a constant stream of syringes has mitigated early concerns.
The activation of NecroNet with all NecroTech buildings has also allowed scientists to apply the DNA tracking research they have gathered to date. The field research staff stationed at the Daubeney Building feel certain that they can crack the mystery surrounding the spread of the virus as well as help monitor aberrant zombie activity within East Becktown.
This building's barricade policy is contested, with many scattered survivors and a handful of dedicated zombies both claiming jurisdiction and unable to reach compromise.
According to local survivors, this building should be Extremely Heavily (EH) barricaded at all times. This is in accordance with the barricade plans set forth by local survivors, who routinely monitor the barricade level for this building. This building is meant to serve as a safehouse for Malton's veteran survivors, and thus requires the Free Running skill to be properly utilized. Survivors who find the building's barricades below their assigned level are asked to assist in raising them back up in order to help ensure the safety of all the survivors staying inside the building. Any survivor found lowering the barricades may be directly "put to the question" by any survivors present at that time. If this happens the accused survivor must present a valid reason for their actions or be labeled a zombie spy/death cultist and be judged accordingly.
According to local zombies, this building should have its Doors Wide Open (DWO) at all times. This is in accordance with the ruin plans set forth by the Daubeney Resident Zambahz, who routinely monitor the barricade level for this building. This building is meant to serve as a home for the zombies that lair here and any other undead that stop by, and thus requires the Ransack skill to be properly maintained. Zombies who find the building's barricades above their assigned level are asked to assist in destroying them in order to help ensure the comfort of all the zombies wishing to enter the building. Any survivor found attacking zombies, raising barricades, loitering on the premises or trampling the flowers may be directly "eaten" by any zombies present at that time. If this happens the killed survivor must present interesting death rattles and sway amicably in the building with the other zombies or be labeled a Mrh Cow and be mocked accordingly.
Zombie tracking reports are a free service provided by the NecroTech corporation to all its staff and local survivors in order to help facilitate quicker response times when managing zombie threats and to build a greater awareness of zombie migration patterns within the 9x9 block region around the Daubeney Building. As a cautious reminder, only those zombies tagged with the DNA Extractor will appear on these scans, so actual numbers may vary when dealing with older zombies (i.e. Brain Rot).
June 2019 - Daman453 here, i'm currently attacking the NT building. Reviveal must be restored in East Becktown. If you will not allow this, i would be able to just unruin the building, but not cade it. All zombies in the NT building are not to be revived. Anyway, even if you disagree, this is just for fun. Let's have a good time!
June 2016 - Johnny Threefingers of the EBD visits the Daubeney and manages to have a short conversation, without being eaten. He calls the inhabitants eloquent and friendly... if they're not hungry.
5 March 2011 You are inside the Daubeney Building. The NecroTech logo glows gently above the front desk, and doors open onto a number of brightly-lit laboratories and computer rooms. The building has been extremely heavily barricaded. A portable generator has been set up here. It only has a little fuel left. Somebody has spraypainted EBC onto a wall. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by LurkingAdjudant (talk • contribs) 00:22, 6 March 2011 (UTC).

6/2/2009 You are inside the Daubeney Building. The NecroTech logo glows gently above the front desk, and doors open onto a number of brightly-lit laboratories and computer rooms. The laboratories have been ruined, with broken equipment smashed to the floor. A thin layer of dust covers the debris. The doors to the street have been secured.A portable generator has been set up here. It is running.Somebody has spraypainted Home of the Daubeney Resident Zambahz. OUR HOUSE! onto a wall. There are two zombies here.--Dr Mycroft Chris 01:56, 3 June 2009 (BST)
January 29th, 2009 Building status is unstable and seems set to remain so for the foreseeable future. Survivors in the area repeatedly repair and rebarricade the NT as a matter of principle, but maintain a weak meat shield if any. A few local zombies see the building as their lair and continually strive for access to the interior. Not a safe place for anybody, but perhaps good for some laughs or a few XP on either side. --Jantrit 00:25, 29 January 2009 (UTC)
