Basic Info:

  • A monument is a city block containing a statue or similar piece of public art, without a building in it. It is functionally equivalent to a street, except that players with the Tagging skill can gain 2 XP for writing graffiti on a monument.
  • This is, game-play wise, an empty block, and cannot be barricaded.
  • After the July 3, 2009 update, some monuments became tall and can be seen from a distance with binoculars

Description

".. the names of the future" can be seen etched into the bottom part of the statue.

The Fortt Monument is a white marble statue of a 19th century figure surrounded by grass. Before the outbreak teenagers would often gather here on 5th of November like many other places in Malton where they would get drunk and high and start fights with each other. Police was often called to dissemble the street fighting but to no prevail - the teens would be back soon after to continue the battle over who was the hardest. The statue was finally removed and replaced years later with the marble statue that now is in place.
