Basic Info:

  • Office buildings owned by the company often associated with the zombie outbreak. From the outside, they are indistinguishable from other buildings, but characters with the NecroTech Employment skill are able to recognise them.
  • Among the internal descriptions found in NecroTech Buildings:
The NecroTech logo is set in the wall behind the front desk, and doors open onto powered-down computer rooms and laboratories."
  • If a generator is running inside the building:
"The NecroTech logo glows gently above the front desk, and doors open onto a number of brightly-lit laboratories and computer rooms."
  • NecroTech offices are tall enough for survivors to commit suicide from. They also provide a vantage point from which binoculars can be used.
  • Necrotech Buildings can be barricaded normally.

Description

The NecroTech logo glows gently above the front desk, and doors open onto a number of brightly-lit laboratories and computer rooms.

Necrotech

The Greatorex Building is a NecroTech facility located in the suburb of Houldenbank on the eastern border of the quarantine zone. It's currently operating as the flagship revivification clinic of Rotter's Relief, with staff support from the NecroTech Protection Front.

To make the service accessible to all patients, the building should remain unbarricaded with its doors open - if the building has been ransacked, there is no harm in it remaining so, with new generators being installed on a daily basis if required. Staff are highly encouraged to find sleeping accommodations in another building, as an open building is a very dangerous place to stay - the Hosken Building to the north is usually accessible, and the rest of Houldenbank falls under the Uniform Barricading Policy, with suitable safehouses within three blocks.

The nearest source of medical supplies can be found at Richard General Hospital, accessible via the damaged quarantine airlocks in the Hosken Building, then across the rooftop of derelict canned food factory to the north. The same factory is our nearest source of fuel and portable generators.

Members of project NecroWatch renovated the facility in recent months, as they installed sensor eyes for A.L.I.C.E. throughout the building and uploaded NecroNet 2.0 into the facility's system terminals.

Staff Roster

To operate successfully, a brain-rot revive clinic needs a constant source of electrical power, and medical support staff to assist with any injuries or infections that the core revivification staff may sustain during the course of their work. Please add your name if you'd like to volunteer to make generator runs from the nearby factory, or provide first-aid supplies from Richard General Hospital - if you're a member of the revivification staff, please add these staff members to your contacts list so that they can receive priority revives if killed. (Staff awaiting revives should wait inside the Greatorex Building, if possible.)

  • Mortensen - currently on hiatus in another suburb

Barricade Policy

This building should be "OPEN", or unbarricaded, at all times [however, please see note below under 'Current Status']. This is in accordance with the set forth by local survivors, who routinely monitor the barricade level for this building. This building is meant to serve as a Rot Revive clinic for zombies suffering Brain Rot. Survivors who find the building barricaded are asked to assist in lowering them back down in order to help ensure that zombies seeking revival are able to do so without difficulty.

NecroNet Reports

Zombie tracking reports are a free service provided by the NecroTech corporation to all its staff and local survivors in order to help facilitate quicker response times when managing zombie threats and to build a greater awareness of zombie migration patterns within the 9x9 block region around the Greatorex Building. As a cautious reminder, only those zombies tagged with the DNA Extractor will appear on these scans, so actual numbers may vary when dealing with older zombies (i.e. Brain Rot).

Current Status

Greatorex is currently attempting to turn out regular rot revives despite hindrance from griefers and pkers. All help is appreciated. Grab a genny, some needles and some fuel, get those cades down and start jabbing! Buda Hilton 7th Feb 2011. 19:47 (GMT)

March 7, 2011 Today after about a week of removing the griefers graffiti and reinstalling the gennies to revive the (DNA scanned) rotters, I got wacked by ZombiePalin who apparently disagrees with the idea of rotters relief. If you see him please KOS as he is promoting the very thing he disagrees with - PKing. --Da Axe Man 03:31, 7 March 2011 (UTC)

February 20, 2011 Sadly this is an attempt by griefers to render the Houldenbank branch of Rotter's Relief obsolete. Revives still go on at Greatorex despite the best efforts of our detractors. --Buda Hilton 09:15, 20 February 2011 (GMT)

February 16, 2011 The clinic has seen the writing on the wall... literally, someone wrote "Rot revive clinic closed. Try Stanbury Village." on the wall. --Espemon333 23:36, 16 February 2011 (UTC)

august 27 2009 the revive clinic is having moderate success ocasionally a feral will kill a civilian the only real problems have been with a civilian known as labrat1 who has on multiple occasions smashed the genarater and heavely barricaded the doors also suspected of repeatedly tagging over the clinic sign--Gabriel Jarvis

march 23 the humans are trying to run the Greatorex building as a revive point. the area is still under attack by pkers and zombies --Newpantheon 12:01, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

5th December, 2008 - Due to the substantial number of zombies in the suburb, particularly rotters with no desire to be revived, Greatorex is not currently functioning as a rot revive centre MeatGrowBrain 18:39, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

July 23, '08 - Foolish harmans have ignored signs pointing out no cades, so there are six or so fleshies hiding in the building, hopefully they'll stay awhile for zombahs to munch on. Padfu-Zomfu 20:07, 23 July 2008 (BST)

July 4th, 2008 - Center is powered and running. no problems here. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Techercizer (talkcontribs) at an unknown time.

September 19th, 2007 - Greatorex has fallen. Four zombies standing outside, the building ruined. The Houlden Building above it is still in operation, generator running, but 29 zombies are standing outside and the bulding is barricaded to the point humans can't get in. -- User:Lyoko 8:07, 19 September 2007 (EST)
