The official George Peppard/A-Team Museum

Due to an unfortunate administration error, the building was filed under city records with a misspelling. A fact that did not seem to stop the visitors before the evacuation. A bastion for George Peppard fans, as well as an un-official Malton Mecca for fans of the cult 80's TV series, The A-Team. Situated in the suburb of Spracklingbank, it shares a zone that includes the Millett Walk Fire Station, the Cudworth Lane Fire Station and the Dunford Lane Fire Station.

Description

Humans and zombies alike will see the following (permanent) description when standing outside the building:

"You are standing outside the Pepperd Museum, an imposing white-stone building with crosses of tape over its windows."

Such a description is always followed by a report of the building's condition (e.g. the level of its barricades), but since that report is never permanent and always subject to change, it is redundant to include it here as well.

Included among the artifacts present in the museum are, the 4th of the 218 Vans they used in the series, Murdock's leather Jacket, several half-smoked cigars and Mr T's first mohawk. When the power is running, a special audio-visual room allows visitors to relive such classics as "The opening Theme to the A-Team", Mr T singing "Mother, there is no other...like Mother. So treat her right!" and that classic clip where Hannibal says "I love it when a plan comes together!".

Amongst the various floors of the museum are a series of areas that, if followed in an advised chronological order, convey the following information (along with various visual artifacts) the life of one of America's most well-known faces (including aspects of his work that was not part of the A-Team...)

"George Peppard was born in Detroit, Michigan, as the son of an opera singer and a building contractor. He graduated from Dearborn High School in Dearborn, Michigan and served in the Marine Corps. He attended Purdue University where he was a member of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity (where he was studying Civil Engineering) and Carnegie Mellon University. He made his stage debut in 1949 at the Pittsburgh Playhouse then enrolled in the Actors Studio in New York and worked in summer stock.

Peppard made his first television appearance, with a young Paul Newman, in an episode of The United States Steel Hour in 1956. A Broadway appearance in "The Pleasure of His Company" in 1958 led to a MGM contract. His good looks and elegant manner helped him receive his most famous film role as Paul Varjak in Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961) with Audrey Hepburn. This role made him a major film star lasting from the early to late 60's. However, Peppard choose tough guys roles in big, ambitious pictures where he was somewhat overshadowed by ensemble casts. A drinking problem also started to affect his reputation.

After a string of B films in the early 70's Peppard moved to television. He had a leading role in the TV series Banacek (1972 - 1974), (part of the NBC Mystery Movie series of the 1970s), and played in Doctors' Hospital, in 1975, and in several other television films, which became in the later part of his career his major dedication."

George Peppard sadly passed away on the 8th of May, 1994.

A gift shop called the "I pity the fool who goes out tryin' a' take over da city, then runs home cryin' to his momma!" offers a wide range of DVD's, cups, toy vans, buttons and T-shirts with slogans like "Ain't no way you gettin me in no barricaded church, Hannibal!", "I love it when a corpse comes apart!" and "I promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Malton underground!".
