Description

Train Row Police Department is located on the northern border of Malton, in West Boundwood.

Well, it's a police station. The architecture isn't terribly inspired, but the brick is a nice color and there's a decent view of the river. The basement is full of thousands and thousands of large shoeboxes, stacked haphazardly in a roughly rectangular pile. For whatever reason, most of them are empty; others, however, have a variety of police equipment scattered at random in a constant (low) ratio. The former quartermaster responsible for this was, by all accounts, an idiot. When the zombie plague struck, the other officers elected to sacrifice him to the marauding horde so they could bravely escape in the squad cars.

After obtaining a large law enforcement grant in 1978, the town council decided to build a police station on what was once a vacant city lot. The original designs called for a small break room, but after deliberations they were scrapped for a layout with a slightly larger break room. The original carpeting was replaced about a decade after the original construction, and it was generally agreed that the new carpeting was superior to the old carpeting.

Barricade Policy

As it's a police department, and therefore full of gunny goodness, it's probably a good idea to keep it well barricaded. The Purt Motel is right next door and can be kept slightly less barricaded for access. Also, since the north side is a river, it's slightly less vulnerable to attack and occasionally passed by by marauding hordes, especially if the lights are off.
