Now that I've split out all the previous month's Served requests, my next task will be to sort them into chronological order. That will, however, wait for another time. -- Odd Starter talkModW! 14:30, 21 April 2006 (BST)

Adbot pages

(Not sure whether this is the right place for this) I would like to propose a change to the speedy deletions policy that lets a mod delete any adbot created pages w/o going through the speedy deletions page. Votes?--Admiral Ackbar U! WTF 04:52, 17 May 2006 (BST)

This has basically been standard policy for a long time. Its kind of considered a revert. --Zaruthustra-Mod 04:53, 17 May 2006 (BST)
Is it? I've been going through speedy deletions. If we are allowed to delete them without going through the speedy deletions page then can we change the rules to reflect this?---The General W! Mod 06:35, 17 May 2006 (BST)
Strictly speaking it isn't even really deletion since nothing actually gets deleted, but it would probably do to put this in the rules anyhow. --Zaruthustra-Mod 06:59, 17 May 2006 (BST)
Odd Starter let the adbot created pages he listed sit on Speedy Deletions until Brizth came and deleted them. Does his opinion differ on this, or did he simply get caught up in something else? –Xoid STFU! 07:19, 17 May 2006 (BST)
It's sat there because speedy deletions have to be listed, and another mod delete them, as part of the policy. We can't delete our own speedy deletion candidates, mostly for accountability purposes. -- Odd Starter talkModW! 09:21, 17 May 2006 (BST)
Err, I recently altered the SD criteria to explicitly state that spambot detritus comes under criterion 1, as it's not really coherant content. -- Odd Starter talkModW! 09:21, 17 May 2006 (BST)
I damn near fell off my chair reading that. –Xoid STFU! 16:01, 17 May 2006 (BST)
