As of May 2, 2024, Doug Collins has turned his back on and renounced PKing.

I did get in one last kill before calling it quits, but I'm done now. If you feel a deep-seated need to seek revenge for my past actions, I'm sorry for you, but I fully understand (so long as they are properly documented, of course). But please be aware that Doug is now following the straight and narrow. While my reasons for quitting are my own, I do owe my former comrades in the Philosophe Knights an explanation, which they can find documented on the forum here.

About

While, admittedly, Doug was supposed to be my first PKer character, that's not how things turned out. I created him with the intention of playing him as a PKer, but I came to find the idea boring and self-serving and decided to abandon it. Instead, since I've enjoyed playing as a survivor elsewhere in Malton, I plan to play him as a reviver and medic, using all of the skills I've picked up with my other survivor. I hope to be a useful player, hopefully in the Northeast, at some point soon, benefitting everyone there by offering my services to those in need. I do still keep a copy of the Zerg Liste and Rogue's Gallery handy, that way I can help with other would-be PKers.

For now, I'm just trying to pick up a few levels so that I can get some of the necessary skills. After that, I'll be roaming around, helping people where I can. If there are any groups interested in having an additional member on your team, get in touch with me and I might be willing to talk. I'm in no particular rush to join a group though, since I already am in groups with some of my other characters, so I'll probably be pretty picky about which group to join.

Note: Other pages have not yet been updated to reflect the change in how I play Doug. HE IS NO LONGER A PKER.

History

Doug "woke up" in Rhodenbank on November 1st, 2009, making him my fourth character, and the last I have planned to create for now. Doug suffered an ufortunate death at the hands of a PKer, ironically enough, before he could even reach level 2. Unfortunately, with the MOB heading his way, and with his neice in the MOB, he needed to head elsewhere in order to avoid accusations of zerging.

After heading southwards a bit to avoid the MOB, Doug was invited to join the 19th Kree Diplomatic Gestalt (now known as "Kree"). The invitation was readily accepted, and he became a member on November 18th, 2009, making him the second member of the group, immediately after its founder. The group then headed elsewhere, while Doug gathered a few kills here and there as he moved across the city.

As of 2024-05-02, Doug renounced PKing (after getting in one last kill) and has been heading towards the Northeast of Malton, hoping to lend a hand there.
