Bah, I dont know what to put here... So I'll just start rambling...

Personal Introduction

Im a 19 year old Chinese American born and raised in New York. I went to Stuyvesant High School, 3 blocks north of the WTC site, with my graduating year now known as the "Class of 9/11". However, I didnt graduate from Stuy (as it is often called), as my parents sent me to New York Military Academy halfway through my junior year, due to some self-control issues (nothing violent, just me cutting class). I graduated from NYMA 9th in my class academically and as a JROTC (Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps) 2nd Lieutenant. With my 1600 SAT score, I had wanted to go to an Ivy League school, but I had to settle for the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). However, that didnt work out too well (mainly because of WoW and other general computer use) and now I'm attending classes at the City University of New York (CUNY).

Introduction to the game

I was pointed to this game by one of my friends from Stuy, who no longer plays anymore. I got into this game right around the time when the college year was winding down, so I had a bit of time on my hands.

Character Origin

As you may or may not have already figured out from my name, my character is supposed to be the Global Defense Initiative (GDI) commando Ghost Stalker from Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun. I added my own touches to the character in the description, making him a Captain (the rank denoted by the two linked silver bars noted in my description) and dressing him in golden BDUs (Battle Dress Uniform) with a GDI shoulder patch (the stylized eagle). I also minimized the cosmetic diffences he would have from being a member of the Forgotten, a group of humans who have been mutated by Tiberium poisoning.

Possible Backstory

GhostStalker would have been dropped into Malton following the outbreak via parachute as part of the GDI response to it. His mission would be to investigate if the cause of the outbreak was facilitated by agents of Nod and to assist the locals in bringing it under control. During the drop, his railgun and C4 charges were lost and he was left to fend for himself with whatever he could find.

Character History

My character started out in Mockridge Heights. Didnt find the locals too friendly and was dead by the end of the day. Got revived and headed out of the area to try and find some friendlier surroundings. Moving into Tapton and doing some ZKing gave me some experience, but I moved on later after being revived and killed repeatedly. I once again moved, this time to Kinch Heights, where I stayed for a couple of weeks. I actually did somewhat well there as a survivor, and when things got bad, a ZKing zombie, picking up quite a few levels.

I moved out of the suburb just about the time that the Big Bash got started right next door. I decided to check out a mall, so I went over to Tompson Mall and started loading up on ammo. However, the next time I logged in, the mall had fallen and I was once again a zombie with nowhere to go.

The friend who introduced me to the game suggested I meet up with him and some more of my friends in Ackland Mall. So I shambled over to Havercroft and stepped into the mall. It wasnt a bad place, as I loaded up on weapons, ammo and FAKs there. I even scraped together enough XP for Headshot. Then the Big Bash hit. During an initial breakthrough, I was killed rather quickly and reduced to waiting on the sidelines for a revive. That revive never came. The mall fell a couple days after.

Heeding Ron Burgundy's advice to former Ackland defenders, I moved into Yagoton to get a revive from the folks at the YRC, getting killed once or twice after being mistaken for a threat. After getting revived rather quickly (Burgundy didnt lie), I moved on to the place where most survivors have gathered at least once, Caiger Mall. The getting was good there, once again stocking up on ammo and clearing the surrounding buildings. Got killed once or twice as well, but those experiences were mere roadbumps. A good deal of XP was gained in the Caiger area, allowing me to buy most of the skills I wanted. After I felt that the surrounding areas were pretty much zombie free (at least for the time being), I decided to fall back to one of my original haunts, Ackland Mall.

Ackland had already been retaken and rebarricaded by the good folks of the C4NT, so I was expecting an easy trip. However, a miscalculation in AP left me dead right at the doors of the mall. After getting revived after a rather lengthy (after the quick ones in Yagoton and the Caiger area) wait, I made my way into the mall and once again loaded up on ammo. I headed out to clear the buildings of Havercroft from the Zombie menace, which I am still doing today. In doing this, I got invited to join Ackland Mall Security, by an acquaintence, Smithy Jones, who I know from another message board.

After clearing most of the buildings in the Ackalnd area, I moved on, deciding to go and help out in the Battle of Blackmore with the rest of AMS. However, I never got there. Travling through Barrville, I noticed that there were quite a bit of strategic buildings in the area being fought over. So I decided to wade in, concentrating on clearing Barrville's 2 central NecroTech Builidngs and the buildings surrounding them. Got killed once or twice, but I managed to do some good work for 2 or three weeks.

Then Shacknews came. Moving in unison, they smashed through Barrville, wrecking house with their coordinated mass attacks with low level zombies. After taking down Nichols Mall and the Blackmore Building, Barrville mush have been easy. After getting back my bearings, I retreated back to Ackland, which was already seeing signs of the Shacknews horde. Calling for aid from Caiger, I waded into the battle, which saw 100+ zombies who had broken into the ULC of Ackland repulsed. But the next day, they struck again, this time against the SW corner. In the ensuing meele, I was taken down. Now another 100+ zombies are inside the mall, with a little less that number of surviors in there as well...
