Character History
It was late in 2007 when Giles Sednik first arrived in Malton, having been spawned in the suburb of Molebank probably around the Barstow Building. As a civilian with the shopping skill he lacked any real ability to defend himself or provide for his own shelter.
Wandering the streets, he came upon an abandoned firestation that was a few blocks away from any zombies. Content with his careful selection, he was able to shut the doors before falling asleep.
In the morning he found that another survivor had tried to murder him with an axe (and failed).
After considering the state of the suburb map and investigating the layout of various resource buildings, Giles decided to make the trek to Foulkes Village. Along the way he found shelter in a building guarded by the Pheonix Security Services. After arriving in Foulkes Village, and finding Cyril Hospital was not over-barricaded he recieved a kind word from a player named Taxidermist, of the group CAPD. Based on this, and after considering the code of ethics they represented on their wiki, Giles joined CAPD.
Since then he has been an active recruiter of CAPD and has risen to the rank of Senior Officer, wielding the super-colossal power of admin. He also became involved in the SWA and in it's heyday, beerhah. During the rampage of the dead he became more interested in metagaming and building alliances among various survivor groups. Heading north in an attempt to get behind the the mega-horde he met many friendly survivor groups of all different persuasions. It was during this time, while hiding in Mack Auto Repair in Grigg Heights, that his character first died. Initially Giles was playing with his own RP paramaters and considered this to be the end of the game for him. However, after 2 weeks he began to miss urbad dead and so he stood up and got a revive.
Since then he's managed to die about a dozen more times, but has committed himself to the pro-survivor cause and to bringing about a greater sense of unity among survivors in general.
Wiki Involvement
I've contributed little to the wiki. Though I did write this article on C.R.A.P. tactics.

Friends
Among my friends I count all of CAPD, and their traditional allies in The Legion of the Octopope. Additionally I am a member of a variety of message boards, including Tikhon Medical, TMS, ROAR, and others. 10mfh used to have some awesome boards and they were a fun group but I lost my registration info over there a while back. Some of the other groups I've enjoyed working with include, past and present, include M(A)F, Those Dudes, the SWA, Brotherhood of Steel, Josephine Generals, and the Bartenders of New Arkham.
Enemies
I don't really consider anyone to be my enemy. Survivors need danger or the game gets really, really boring. Although zergers in general are just lame, regardless of their motives or what "side" they're on. I'll usually make it a point to kill one of their alts, or to grief them in some manner.
Current Goals
- To strengthen the SWA by creating greater unity among it's member groups and by bringing more groups into the mix.
- To recruit survivors to CAPD by being helpful and friendly in-game, and to keep the current roster engaged and interested so that we can grow our numbers into the 40s.
- To figure out how to make decent tables and wiki stuff.
