Rot From The Moors

Ah, how is Grigg without us there? We were invited to a Feast by our neighbors. But don't worry, we'll bring come back and clean house again soon. - Vigeous RHA 23:35, 2 August 2008 (BST)

I doubt there is one living person in Griggs at the moment, so you'd be wasting your time. I'd go to the east -- there are fat burbs filled with bored survivors too lazy to come to such feral places like Grigg Heights, they'd rather sit in their safe houses doing nothing. --Elingold 17:14, 3 August 2008 (BST)

An answer, maybe...

...to your formatting question. I asked at the #udwiki IRC after we talked last nite, and was referred to User:Boxy. Here's the response I got: "The only way I've seen it done is to first edit the page where you're going to upload the image (eg Image:Whatever.jpg), and make it a redirect to the page you want to link to, and then upload the image to that location. Then whenever anyone clicks on that image on any page it redirects to the page you nominated -- boxy talk • i 05:57 14 December 2007 (BST)"

Hope that helps. --Doc 12:00, Dec 14, 2007 EST

It seems you're a half-step ahead of me, lol. I keep checking out these groups and you've already signed up at their forums, etc. Saved me the trouble, so maybe you could look into getting us added to some of their pages, and vice versa? INO, etc. If they're really interested it'd be great to have something more formal written down. --Doc Smithsfieldsoner 15:20, 4 Dec 2007 EST

  • Well this last run was a pretty good one. We held off quite a number of zeds for about twice as long as I thought we'd last. What do you think of changing the cade policy for the time being? (assuming we can retake it, again, that is) VSB just won't cut it against a horde of more than 20, not w/only half a dozen or so survivors holding out. --Doc Smithsfieldsoner 19:27, Dec 6, 2007 GMT

Hey ElinGold. Good news is that I've recently retaken Loveridge Arms and have barricaded it back up to very heavily at the moment. I want to try staging a retaking of at least Edmund and hopefully Haddock PD as well. I'm going to need all the help I can get to hold'em though. Is your group still in the neighborhood to stay put in the hospital once that happens? Anyone with the construction skil, more specifically?

Thats great!

I think everyone is getting tooled up for a come back. I'm dead at the moment waiting for a revive at [7-43]. I have a toolbox n stuff but i'm not much use at the moment :( --Elingold 20:22, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for the revive!

Shoooweee, Grigg Heights is a tough place to call home. --Les Nessman BBC 18:33, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

So sorry!

You can probably be sure that I didn't mean to hide the Edmund General ppl from the Griggs info page. This copy+paste thing sometimes confuses us! All apologies for that! --Mark McCormick 19:22, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

I figured .. its not a huge deal.. just wanted you to be aware that the pipe at the end does that.. Took me a few mins to figure out cos the groups were still there.. just invisible!!

;( But we like you

Looks like we've been site seeing the same spots. We all look forward to doing more glorious battle with you. --War Criminal 05:35, 1 July 2008 (BST)

Oh I'm just still miffed you all chose Edmund General to sack first is all. We just had that place back together after six or so months of fighting and running.

I'll get over it :) --Elingold 06:58, 1 July 2008 (BST)

It's all good. Your right about the Totes though. I was one of them back when they were just starting out & only recently left them for RftM. The Totes are an exceptional team of players & with Doc Smith on their team...how can they go wrong. :) --War Criminal 23:30, 2 July 2008 (BST)
