Hello everyone, this is my talk page. In order how to use it you must do it like this:

Example:

Before you start to make a comment, put a Level 2 Headline with your name on it making your own section. Then you do the following:

09/03/08: This is how you put your comment on my talk page.

Additional Notes: This is where you put Additional notes means you decide to add more details to the subject.

This shoulden't be too hard, if you have any questions on anything just asked. Also a new policy, old sections will be deleted in sight after a few months so I don't want any complaints about it.

For older post please see the Talk Archive

Hello again Soldier

You might remember a while back I posted to inform you of certain things, I was trying to be helpful then, again I want to be helpful even though the current situation is none of my business. Oh, and sorry for not following the format that you like for your talk page, but really it is overcomplicated.

Anyhow, the situation at hand. Below, your friend Janus has tried to explain to you certain aspects that make your group, to be frank, a little silly. I'll try to go through this point by point.

  • Psycho list: You are not the first group to have a list of enemies, nor will you be the last. In fact, having enemies is totally acceptable, without enemies the game would be boring. But it's your way of choosing enemies that is a problem. You are choosing them, often, because of out of game activities. This you should avoid. People you meet here on the wiki, although their actions might give you an indication of what their characters are like, are not your characters enemy. You have to learn to see the difference between in game and out of game, in character and out of character. For the most part, on the wiki, people are out of character. Simply because they have so many characters to represent that they can't play all the roles at once. So when you and someone get a bit unfriendly here, don't think of their characters as enemies, wait until their characters react to you in game (if you met my PKer he'd probably shoot, if you met my survivor he'd heal you). And also, don't declare a user your enemy, because there is no way they can be your enemy without their character being your enemy first. The point: Don't make more enemies than you actually have or need.
  • Communication: You seem to utilize the wiki for communication, a while back it was suggested you get a forum. You can get one rather easily and it will make communication easier for your group. As of now, I see you clogging your group page by including links, maps and logs. Remember that your group page represents your group. You want it to look good, tidy, and you want to use it to get information across to people who are interested in your group. Many a group use their page more as an advertising spot/information area for others, than as a portal for their own group members. This is of course very much a personal choice of whether or not you want to have a forum (which will free up the space used for logs, links and maps), but I'd recommend it.
  • Your understanding of group ties: Now here I have to ask you something, what exactly do you expect from this game? I've read your post to Janus, and quite frankly I think you've misunderstood something somewhere along the line. This is a game, you are meant to enjoy it. In fact, the whole reason I am posting this is because I want to help you to play the game and enjoy it more. You speak of people turning on you, betraying you, and not trusting anyone. It's just not that way. Your group will not turn on you as long as you are nice and do what's best for it. You speak of that guy who left your group and began hunting you? Happened to my group too. We were (still are for that matter) the BMC, and one of our members didn't like our rules and ended up leaving and then hunting us down (he even got very hostile both in and out of game). But, one out of about 50 people who have come and gone through the BMC turned on us, that's not a high average. I hope you understand that people in general don't just turn on their former allies.
  • Player killers: This ties to the above. What is it you think of them? I hope you understand that they are just another way of playing this game. They are not out to cause you grief, well some are, but in most cases they are just playing the game too. A person who is a player killer is not evil (I'm not entirely sure if that is what you think), most player killers have a survivor or zombie character (again just remember you're interacting with different characters), it's just another aspect of the game.
  • A few facts: Saromu and Pestolence, are not system operators. Nor would they be allowed to delete your pages. People are not trying to turn others against you. If you are referring to Pestolence's comment about why Janus was on your side, it's because you've done a few things to make you seem to be a bad choice to be on the same side as. I'm referring to your psycho list and understanding of PKers.

Anyhow, that's all I can think of for now, I'm half tempted to delete this because it's really none of my business, and I might have misjudged you, and you might just not want to hear it. You can post to my talk page if you would like to respond, any format you like, just post at the bottom please. Best of luck to you. - User:Whitehouse 16:04, 13 December 2008 (UTC)

Zombie Emergency Management Agency

Anything about the organization is must be written in this section in Triple Headline. If you did it wrong it will be corrected with no harm done to your work.

Janus

12/13/08: AZS and ZEMA.

Additional Notes: Soldier, what is exactly that you don't understand? I think that Pestolence and Lucky also made it quite clear.. Anyway, I'll try to recap.

Psychopaths list: useless; there aren't screenshots/proofs etc. and you put mods/admins (or just people who do their work on this wiki) there.

Policies: again, useless. The wiki already has its own and there's no reason why people should follow yours.

Threats: you "threaten" users because they're trying to help (in their own way) and put them in the Psychopath list. This takes us back to the first point.

Game and Wiki: it includes all the points listed above. UD is one thing. The Wiki is another. The AZS didn't leave the ZEMA because of evil pkers/psychopaths, but due to your own bad behavior. Also, I've got the weird feeling that you don't (want to) listen to anything I (and the others) say.

Sorry if I was too harsh.

Soldier, you're.. putting UD and the Wiki at the same "level" again. That Ryan guy went "insane" in-game. He is roleplaying in the game and so am I (even if in a pro-survivor way).
Each user has their own way to deal with another. Iscariot (who's a sysop) has, Saromu (who's NOT a sysop) has, Pestolence (who's not a sysop) has too.
And also: Like you leaving the alliance, that you just pull the trigger and something bad is going to happen to you, your group, my group, probably all of us. The AZS left the alliance to prevent something bad to happen.
