About

History Designed and built by William C. Vigors, this two story, "I" shaped motel was built in the prewar years and catered to providing temporary lodging to out of town family members visiting loved ones in one of the several close by hospitals. However, as looted police records will show, a percentage of the motel's revenue also came illicitly from local club owners who would rent out rooms for several of their customer's evening patronage.
