Zombies almost always check inside. Some are often used as literal fortresses, and are sometimes so heavily barricaded that it is impossible to enter without Free Running. Tagging a police station earns 2 XP. They are listed as a Tactical Resource Point. Police Stations can be barricaded normally.

Zeliak Way Police Dept

Description

One of the police depts in the suburb of South Monroeville. This station is surrounded by a total of three hospitals.

History

A newer Police Station, built a few years before the outbreak. It was built to house security forces for the nearby hospitals and office buildings. After the outbreak it became a haven for the survivors. It hasn't seen as many rotters as other parts of the suburb but the survivors know this is but a short term miracle. To help keep this Police station and hospitals safe groups of survivors have banded together as the Zeliak Defense Force under the leadership of one Tom Jenkins.

Barricade Policy

The barricade plan for Zeliak Way PD is EHB at all times. Several of the surrounding buildings currently serve as entry points.

The area is surrounding Zeliak PD is very quiet. The Zeliak Defense Force has been patroling the area regularly and Zombies are becoming hard to come by. I have put down nearly ten zeds since headshots became permanent, but unless more zeds start appearing that kill rate may be hard to keep up. I found only one zed hiding indoors on my most recent patrol and it scurried away before I could kill it. The humans might actually "win" this one. I enourage all zeds to stop by the Zeliak PD. Jimhoff here, I've been barricading the police department as there seems to be several zombies outside and its hard telling when they will learn to open doors. If only we had some sort of scanner.
