Description

Julie General Hospital, an imposing concrete building with black crosses painted across its doors and empty wards criss-crossed with snapped quarantine tape, is one of six hospitals located in Kempsterbank, a suburb of Malton.

This building and other resource buildings in the immediate area have been claimed and maintained actively by the Knights Templar. All wandering survivors are welcome to stop in for a heal. For those needing more than just a heal, please stop at Ebbutt Road for a quick revive.

Barricading Policy

In accordance with the Kempsterbank Barricade Plan, this site is to be kept at Very Strongly Barricaded (VSB+2), in order to permit entry by rookies and those needing Free Running access. In the event of heavy zombie activity, barricades may be temporarily upgraded to EHB, but should be lowered back to VSB as soon as possible thereafter.

Current Status

20 March 2021 - Barricades at VSB, and generator is running, but low on fuel. Several survivors in the hospital. No zombies outside the facility. --Admiral 02:01am, 20 March 2021 (UTC)

History

"21 March 2014" - Barricades at VSB, and generator is running. Several survivors in and around the hospital. A few take refuge in the police station nearby. Few zombies seen around the block lately. --Peter Mason 09:10, 21 March 2014 (UTC)

24 May 2009 - VSB, as per plan, and lit -- though the generator is running low on fuel. Radio is transmitting on the appropriate frequency. Two dozen or more survivors en camp. --Lariat2301 03:23, 25 May 2009 (BST)

August, 5th, 2009-Over 20 Zeds outside area of Julie General.reinforcements needed PDQ (PRETTY DAMN QUICK!!!). -van von hellsing 9:17, 5 auguest 2009 (EST)

June, 22nd, 2009 - The hospital is under a sustained attack, being breached by over a dozen zombies. Members of the Knights Templar and Boardsies put out an appeal for assistance to mount a defence.

May, 4th, 2009 - The building is very strongly barricaded, running a generator with a transmitter on 27.55MHz. There are few or no zombies around.

January, 29th, 2009' -M. Kensington 02:58, 30 January 2009 (UTC) Upon hearing about a wounded two blocks up, I decided to check. Indeed there was a wounded person two blocks up, but after that I returned to find that the building was over barricaded. I suspect it was a trick.

October 28th, 2008 - Hospital is no more. Zeds broke in about 6 in the morning and killed most of us hiding in the hospital. Generator is destroyed and there are about 50+ zombies around the hospital. It is not safe anymore. It is very dangerous to be here. Outlaw2448

August 21th, 2008 - The Cades are at VSB, there is power and there a few zombies around. --O R LY
