Group Info
The Apsey Urban Militia began, as many survivor groups did, in the early days immediately following the outbreak. The city of Malton was in chaos, and as Zombies roamed the streets killing freely, a small band of survivors found themselves seeking the shelter of the local library.
Apsey library, unlike much of Malton, had not been ransacked, and these survivors found the doors locked and windows barred.
The local librarian, a small quiet spoken man known to the locals as 'Dr. George Cobblestock,' seemed to possess an uncanny knowledge of Necrotech's experiments - and when the exhausted but grateful survivors asked why he had already prepared Apsey library for the outbreak, he smiled enigmatically, "Better safe than sorry I always say..."
Over the coming weeks, as the survivors of the outbreak began organising themselves and barricading safe houses, Apsey Library became home for those survivors, a place where, within the barricaded walls of the library, they could feel safe from the madness outside.
It was becoming clear to the survivors that George knew more about the outbreak than he dared share, and the turning point came one day in June, when one of the group risked possible expulsion from the Library to search the elderly Librarian's office.
The answer was in an old memo found filed away in the desk. It was an internal Necrotech office memo, addressed to a 'Dr. G. Cobblestock,' Head of Molecular Genetic Research...'
