These are components for the {{BarricadePolicyBox}} template, which is a way to display Barricade Plans.

Documentation

The main template is {{BarricadePolicyBox}} which will give you your barricade plan. The policy box alters each cell to display a block, either a colour to represent a certain level of barricades, or to show a TRP style (which represents VSB).

Variables

  • suburb should contain the name of the suburb, this will be automatically linked.
  • x and y are the tens digits for the x and y co-ordinates of locations within the suburb. For example, Santlerville blocks have X co-ordinates 70-79, so x=7. Y co-ordinates range from 20-29, so y=2.
  • RSBTXT is a short line of text at the bottom of the legend which can be used to make a brief note about the plan. You can usually leave it at the default *Resource buildings shown in natural colors are barricaded to VS+2 only
  • text_yx will display text within the cell. You can use whatever you like, including links. The ordering of yx means that you complete a row of the plan from left to right, then move down and complete another row.
  • blocktype_yx should match one of the types listed below. These represent the barricade policy of a block.

Block Types

Each type of block has its own template. These templates are prefixed "Template:BPB" should you need to create others.

The following are possible values for blocktype:

  • Empty
    - for empty blocks such as streets, monuments, parks, etc that cannot be barricaded.
  • Nobarricade
    - for buildings that do NOT have any barricades.
  • Barricaded
    - for buildings that are barricaded up to Very Strongly Barricaded (VSB) only.
  • Noentry
    - for buildings that have maximum barricades, Extremely Heavily Barricaded (EHB).

There optional types can be used to show certain building types on the map, with the in-game style. If you don't change RSBTXT, it is recommended that these are used when the block is barricaded to VSB.

Usage Format

Replace anything in ALLCAPS.
