Zombies almost always check inside. Some are often used as literal fortresses, and are sometimes so heavily barricaded that it is impossible to enter without Free Running. Tagging a police station earns 2 XP. They are listed as a Tactical Resource Point. Police Stations can be barricaded normally.

The police station is located in South Monroeville. The Rupert Street Fire Station is near, so survivors might join us frequently. St Odo's Church can give some minor opportunity to heal as FAKs can be found there.

Barricading

It is vital, that the station is kept in VSB++ all the time, and go above it only in a hard assault, when needed. This way survivors can gather here without free running. As long as zombies don't show up in great numbers, barricades will hold, so no need to overcade. Zombies also can't open doors yet, as they're weak as we are.

Current status

The station is currently well populated, but cades are down. There were some barricading attempt, but civilians destroyed the barricades in a short time.

Plans

2007.feb.25. --- The number of surviors gathered in the station is impressive, it can be turned into a good spot of deffense for the first strikes. To organize the deffense, there are some things to do:

- It is a suggestion, but I think we can work better, if we form a group. For this time, Colliver Grove Scouts will do, if you like.

- It is vital, to keep the barricades up at VSB++. So if anyone can build it up, please do so, and please do not destroy the barricades.

- If we can find some radios (in the police dept or in the fire station) we can set a dedicated radio frequency for us. For now, a free frequency would be the best. I tuned the radio transmitter in the police dept to 28.88 MHz, let's see if this frequency is clear enough to use. Please set your radio recievers to this frequency for now. This is a good way of communication for now.

- Mapping the area is needed for further strategies. We need to find a hospital soon. I suggest to do organised scout attempts, groups if possible, and in every direction. For this, we need 8 scout (or group) for the 8 direction.
