This group currently consists out of the two Core brothers, Tim "Liquid" Core and James "Solid" Core. Mostly living in the sewers ever since the initial outbreak began, they have only recently surfaced. Finding the world still riddled with the living dead, they have decided not to go back underground, but opted to establish a base somewhere in the city. With the further degeneration of their current hideout's safety, the brothers intend to head for safe grounds somewhere in the southwestern quarter of Malton. Having fought their way through dangerous Roftwood, they are currently holed up in a building southwest of there, on their way to safety.
A long way from their initial hideout, the Core Brothers have now taken up residence in a necrotech building in Buttonville. A fort of sorts, this building has so far seen little strife in the time they have been living there.
James "Solid" Core
The eldest of the Core brothers, James is taller than his sibling, standing well over 6 feet tall. Living in the sewers has not done him well. He is emaciated and always on his guard, up to the point of straight out paranoia. Grey eyes peer out from under his dark hair, sizing up any possible threat to all that he has left in this horrible city, his brother Tim. Recently taken down by a zombie, he was revivified by a passing medic soon after. In the time it took for the both of them to reach Buttonville, James was once again infected in a streak of bad luck. A chunk of meat missing out of his shoulder, he has now taken to staying inside to heal.
Tim "Liquid" Core
Youngest of the Core brothers, Tim has fared little better than his elder brother. However, his tendency to never sit still have led him to caches of food and weapons as often as to zombies or gangers. His lively blue eyes pierce anybody that comes too close, trying to gauge their intentions. He is currently alone in the Core Brothers' hideout, but does not despair. He continues to raid outlying shops and other buildings to build up their supplies. Having heard of his brother's fate, he headed over and met up with him in one of the wards of a nearby hospital.
