Discosaurs/Rage in the Age/The Event
Preamble Beginnith
The Rage in the age event took place between 3rd October 2010 and 16th October 2010. The competing teams were the Discosaurs, a team of amateurs and rogue specialists who hosted the event; the Manhunt All-Stars, a combined effort of the greatest hunters and killers in Malton; RDD, a team of Death Cultist extraordinaires; Timmy the Trenchie's Twist and Shout Band, a team of professional PKers and Feral Undead members; And finally The Team Formerally Known as Karloth Vois, a mysterious group made up entirely of Karloth vois'. At the end of the event on the 16th October, the clear winner was The Team Formerally Known as Karloth Vois, coming back from nothing to win 100 kills to 24 in the final week.
Preamble Endeth
3rd October 2010 : The Day of the Meteor
As the moon rose over the skies on the 276th day, the rage of battle was in the air. In a pre-war scout, the Discosaurs had encountered members of both the Manhunt All-Stars and Timmy the Trenchie's Twist and Shout Band, even going so far as to locate a pocket of the former. But destiny was not on the side of the Dinos from the dancefloor. Moments before the moon's break of silver, the Manhunt All-Stars burst in to the area, setting upon the Discosaur base in a fit of fire and fury. In the madness, now known only as the Day of the Meteor, the Menace of the Red Sun destroyed 4 brave Patriots of Disco and 2 Merry men of the Black-Coat band, suffering only a single loss themselves, at the hands of the Sharp-Haired One. Hours later, the meteor struck again, giving the All-stars their second hit of the night and the first kill from the Twist and Shout Band. The only one to escape the madness was Petite Fille, destroying themselves to avoid being defeated. Mr Vois was unable to comment.
